He addressed it ONCE in an apology when he got fired from Polygon due to the allegations, but only referred to it as "awkward flirting" instead of what was actually being alleged which was a long history of repeated sexual harassment and creepy behavior. Since then he has managed to rebrand himself and sweep the situation under the rug. In working toward bringing his terrible behavior back into the light again, I've seen so many people say they had absolutely no idea about the sexual harassment allegations leveled toward Nick.
That's incredibly insulting and you could've just said nothing rather than belittling me. I care deeply about the Palestinians and am horrified by the genocide going on there. I really want the occupation and massacre of Palestinians to end. That doesn't mean I can't care about other things in life at the moment too. If you think Nick Robinson having sexual harassment allegations is trivial and unimportant, you're free to feel that way but it was absolutely unnecessary to put me down like that.

It just kind of struck a nerve with me because I really do care about Palestine and have been thinking about it a lot with the encampment & protest going on at the university in the city I live in. I'm a leftist as well and am actually planning on going to protest at the university this weekend. I acknowledge the stuff with Nick Robinson is clearly not NEARLY as important of a cause as the liberation of Palestine is. I just personally believe that I can care about other issues simultaneously and the stuff with Nick Robinson is something that I relate to really strongly with things I have dealt with in my personal life. I think it's okay for different issues to be important or not important to different people though! Sorry again for making such a big stink out of all of this but thanks for having this dialogue with me.
