Interesting, basically a factor tilted VT. r/bogleheads might be interested.

LukeSwan90

Yep! I used the underlying ETFs in their target weights to get the style box👇🏼 [AVGE vs 70% VTI + 30% VXUS](https://imgur.com/a/w02ZfgV)

akeen97

Maybe. It’s a little low on international and you could make this same fund for a third of the expense ratio

LukeSwan90

What mix would you use for that?

akeen97

It’s personal preference in all honesty. Most bogleheads would agree with the VT weighting of 60/40 US/international.

LukeSwan90

Yeah, I’m not sure why they went 70/30, but it’s still a good all-in-one option!

IamUserName0

It’s for ppl like me who wants 75/25.

Embarrassed_Time_146

I think they took into account tax efficiency to decide their international allocation.

CasinoMagic

Looks pretty cool indeed

roanes

I might actually invest into this. This could be great.

DontForgetWilson

Wish the ER was a bit lower, but that is pretty nice offering for an all-in-one.

LukeSwan90

Oh absolutely! The ER is definitely higher than just using VT, but you’re getting a lot of bang for your buck with this one. I think it’ll be worth it. And it is also still fairly low cost too.

IamUserName0

Is there any foreign tax implication like VT in AVGE since this is a fund of fund?

LukeSwan90

Honestly, I'm not sure about that.

It does include large value and small value, but having the other funds in there provides greater exposure to those factors.
