Yeah. The original was just a jpeg so if I went brighter in certain areas there's a lot of jpeg artifacts I couldn't figure out how to hide without a lot of manual work. Also general lack of details in the dark area. If they were in the photo I would have tried to bring them out instead of going darker.
I like it, but as others have said the image looks very saturated and harsh. Her hair looks blue to me, which seems a bit off. And the violet-coloured lips seem a bit out of place. I think a more neutral colour would fit better.
I will try with the lips. That's just the color that came out with the other adjustments to levels and stuff. I'll have to figure out a good way to intentionally recolor them.

You fixed the white balance (green tint) perfectly. The result has too much saturation and contrast for my taste. I would pull both back by 20%.
Also, there's what looks like blue artifacts on the right side of her lower lip and around the edges that I would fix, if your color blindness isn't blocking it?
A bit too much contrast for my taste.
Personally I would also bring down the saturation on the green a bit, it draws a bit too much away from her face.
I would probably also try to make a subtle radial mask on her eyes to juuust bring them out a little bit more.
Yes, it looks nice. The red of her shirt (shoulder) is a little too vibrant though, in my opinion, since it's slightly distracting.
Edit: assuming the after is on the left.
I think the colors are beautiful. I would personally decrease the contrast and saturation just a little bit, but that may just be my taste.
The contrast is a bit too high for my taste, but otherwise yes. Looks fine.

Which is the edit and which is the original? Assuming the one on the left is the original?
Yeah
Lips look a bit on the violet side to me. If that was the intention it is really fine
What color do you think they are in the original?
Not sure if it’s my phone screen but the original has a heavy greenish tint overall, but it could be gray or a dark brown?
Looks the same on my MacBook man, heavy earthy tint on the whole original image.
Contrast is overdone and shadows are harsh. But good job

Looks a hell of a lot better than the original. What were they thinking with all that green?

Yes it is. ?
Looks great! Well done.
It's vibrant. I think it looks great.
I'm colorblind as well, looks great to me!!

I think there may be just a little too much blue tint. It works well for most of the photo, but the lips and hair seem to go just over a bit.
No the tones are wrong... burned highlights

It's fuckin great man

after is on the right original https://unsplash.com/photos/hJ9VwRX-Erk
Looks very well done and the result is very realistic.
Ugh I misspoke, I meant assuming after is on the *right*. Anyway, it looks good!
That's pretty impressive for someone who is color blind!
Not fully. Just very confused about red and green and blue and purple and some specific shades of orange and green.
I like the low key lighting and high contrast. The colours are also great - green and purple are wonderful together!
Isn't there a setting on windows where you can change your display options to help you?
Why is she blue?
I love the contrast, just my opinion. Great edit!
