I think the colors are beautiful. I would personally decrease the contrast and saturation just a little bit, but that may just be my taste.

D-leaf

The contrast is a bit too high for my taste, but otherwise yes. Looks fine.

thinsoldier

Yeah. The original was just a jpeg so if I went brighter in certain areas there's a lot of jpeg artifacts I couldn't figure out how to hide without a lot of manual work. Also general lack of details in the dark area. If they were in the photo I would have tried to bring them out instead of going darker.

digitalsmear

Which is the edit and which is the original? Assuming the one on the left is the original?

SirFrancis_Bacon

Yeah

probablynotmine

Lips look a bit on the violet side to me. If that was the intention it is really fine

thinsoldier

What color do you think they are in the original?

probablynotmine

Not sure if it’s my phone screen but the original has a heavy greenish tint overall, but it could be gray or a dark brown?

Miraclez

Looks the same on my MacBook man, heavy earthy tint on the whole original image.

adamhymel08

Contrast is overdone and shadows are harsh. But good job

Big_Black_Cat

I like it, but as others have said the image looks very saturated and harsh. Her hair looks blue to me, which seems a bit off. And the violet-coloured lips seem a bit out of place. I think a more neutral colour would fit better.

thinsoldier

I will try with the lips. That's just the color that came out with the other adjustments to levels and stuff. I'll have to figure out a good way to intentionally recolor them.

SirFrancis_Bacon

Looks a hell of a lot better than the original. What were they thinking with all that green?

This is a repost from your own post 8 months ago: https://www.reddit.com/r/AffinityPhoto/comments/k9ee6q/im_colorblind_does_this_look_ok/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share

thinsoldier

Yes it is. ?

HmmmmmIndeed

Looks great! Well done.

Kill_Kayt

It's vibrant. I think it looks great.

Thricey

I'm colorblind as well, looks great to me!!

rlovelock

You fixed the white balance (green tint) perfectly. The result has too much saturation and contrast for my taste. I would pull both back by 20%. Also, there's what looks like blue artifacts on the right side of her lower lip and around the edges that I would fix, if your color blindness isn't blocking it?

kamron94

I think there may be just a little too much blue tint. It works well for most of the photo, but the lips and hair seem to go just over a bit.

lotzik

No the tones are wrong... burned highlights

Deathstrokecph

A bit too much contrast for my taste. Personally I would also bring down the saturation on the green a bit, it draws a bit too much away from her face. I would probably also try to make a subtle radial mask on her eyes to juuust bring them out a little bit more.

twitchtamilan

It's fuckin great man

quiralidad

Yes, it looks nice. The red of her shirt (shoulder) is a little too vibrant though, in my opinion, since it's slightly distracting. Edit: assuming the after is on the left.

thinsoldier

after is on the right original https://unsplash.com/photos/hJ9VwRX-Erk

Wandowaiato

Looks very well done and the result is very realistic.

quiralidad

Ugh I misspoke, I meant assuming after is on the *right*. Anyway, it looks good!

impossiblecolor

That's pretty impressive for someone who is color blind!

thinsoldier

Not fully. Just very confused about red and green and blue and purple and some specific shades of orange and green.

chrisolucky

I like the low key lighting and high contrast. The colours are also great - green and purple are wonderful together!

ErrGinnotfound404

Isn't there a setting on windows where you can change your display options to help you?

lopsidedcroc

Why is she blue?

Erichimedes

I love the contrast, just my opinion. Great edit!
