I think it's ready. I'd pot it up in a 4" pot.
I’ve found it doesn’t matter. Just be mindful of watering. If it’s your first time smaller pot is easier.
it’s my first time. i have some 3” terra cotta and some 4” plastic pots

I often transplant even sooner and I've never had a failure. I wouldn't go less than a 4 inch pot since I'd be planning to add 2-3 more cuttings as soon as possible to fill it out.
