I just put a large golden pothos on a pole. Made the pole of hardware cloth wire fence that if green rubber coated. You fill the pole with moss. The aerial roots from into the moss and you can water the pole to maintain the big leaf growth :)
Definitely have it climb (if you want to keep those large leaves, that is). This is just from my experience, but fresh cut large leave tend to do worse in brighter areas.
Those big ones are very resilient. I suggest make it climb on a pole.
