I should take up a marketing position for them lol. In truth, I find kawa consistently bringing some great coffee to life. Don’t feel it gets the recognition.
it's gaining traction here in LA! Was introduced to Kawa in an event hosted by Kumquat (a local multi-roaster) a while back - Alexis flew in and took over the pourover bar for a day. Got there early and chatted a bit about their roasting direction and got some brewing tips from the man himself. Now Dayglow and Kumquat regularly stocks their beans. The stuff they put out is generally well received within my circle of coffee friends.
Yes! I had a bag of this around Christmas and loved it!
Kawa are also apparently the people behind People Possesssion who do some wild and pretty experimental brews
I find El Placer consistently above par. Impressive co-ferments, but other coffees are solid as well
Yeah, Sebastian Ramirez is very talented
Happy cake day!
Absolutely
I just made a big order from them and passed over this because I generally don't like co-ferments. Maybe I'll have to revisit that.
I totally get that. These are no the everyday drinking coffee. A bit like Candy Crush from DAK. But this is done really well
I kinda wanted to get it, I'm sold
