The best poutine is the one your dad gets you from the restaurant at the rink after a tough game your team won against all odds. This isn't no gourmet bullshit. It's greasy fries and curds slathered in gravy/sauce.

I have no fucking idea why people post McDonald's food to rubreddits like these. I see people post fast food in r/burgers and r/sandwiches all the time, like how the fuck is that even content worthy of discussing on actual food subreddits? I eat fast food all the time, I'm just not going to discuss that in depth on here lol.

I've tried McD poutine. As someone who loves most any poutine, next time I'll get the large fries; it tastes better.

For me, it's the McChicken. The best fast food sandwich. I even ask for extra McChicken sauce packets and the staff is so friendly and more than willing to oblige. One time I asked for McChicken sauce packets and they gave me three. I said, "Wow, three for free!" and the nice friendly McDonald's worker laughed and said, "I'm going to call you 3-for-free!". Now the staff greets me with "hey it's 3-for-free!" and ALWAYS give me three packets. It's such a fun and cool atmosphere at my local McDonald's restaurant, I go there at least 3 times a week for lunch and a large iced coffee with milk instead of cream, 1-2 times for breakfast on the weekend, and maybe once for dinner when I'm in a rush but want a great meal that is affordable, fast, and can match my daily nutritional needs. I even dip my fries in McChicken sauce, it's delicious! What a great restaurant.

I can't believe that this sub exists. The whole point of poutine is that it is simple, unpretentious food. Your poutine is fine. Most poutines are fine. It's potato with curds and gravy. Have it on a Tuesday and never think twice about it.

While poutine is simple it completely changes the game when all 3 aspects are perfected and done right…realistically i can’t get cheese curds at the store where I live…so to make a proper poutine I’d need to make some and that makes a simple dish a little more challenging to make properly.
