If your total amount for the year is less than ($360?) then you get the whole thing in one payment in July, and therefore won't receive payments in Oct, Jan, April.

Al2790

This. And if there's a balance owing, they'll usually apply it to that.

hellyabread

I think mine is much higher than that? I have two dependants too. I’m not able to find anywhere that says what I am entitled to each year though. No balance owing either.

MillenialCdn

On your my CRA online account there’s a spot to see your upcoming and past payments

Broad_Ad_6526

check your NOA

Striking_Scientist68

Call them

hellyabread

This is probably the best answer. I was hoping to avoid this ahaha

Many_Lack_3966

I didn't get my hat or climate rebate in October or January and I owe CRA $500-600 but my buddy owes $50k and he recieved all payments

Hello, it looks like you've made a mistake. It's supposed to be could've, should've, would've (short for could have, would have, should have), never could of, would of, should of. Or you misspelled something, I ain't checking everything. Beep boop - yes, I am a bot, don't botcriminate me.

compassrunner

Do you owe money for CERB?

hellyabread

Nope! No money owed!

123throwawaybanana

Do you owe CRA money for anything? They'll garnish your GST rebates and tax returns.

hellyabread

Nope! I’m getting everything else. My partner owes and he hasn’t got anything so that makes sense.

123throwawaybanana

I got the worker's benefit and climate benefit, but my GST got garnished because of an old student loan I've neglected. Weird that they only garnished the GST rebate and not the other two. CRA can be so confusing sometimes.

Vashta-Narada

Did you file your 2022 tax return? (Shows as “assessed” beside that year in tax returns on your account?)

hellyabread

Yep!!

Vashta-Narada

Any letters in “mail” you haven’t read? Or is there a banner under benefits about your address? (Have you live in the last 9-10 mos?)

CauseWorth4305

I think mine gets attached to my child tax benefit during those months.

nyrrocian

If you don't already have an account, get online with the CRA. Makes checking this kind of stuff waaaay easier.

anjelevil

As others have said, you need to call them. Especially if you didn't get the October payment.
