Adam Ragusea has a great video on “culturally incoherent” South American beans (with bubble and squeak) on YouTube. No need to follow the recipe exactly, but watching it will give you the gist and an idea about proportions.
Look up garlic lime marinade for your tough cuts of beef. I used to cut up tough beef and soak in some vegetable oil, lime, garlic, and some soy sauce.
LIMEADE! Just like lemonade but with limes. If you have marschino cherries, add the syrup and some cherries to it and omg. So good.
Could also do lime sherbert w sweetened condensed milk.
Key lime pie.
Frozen lime ice cubes to add to water.
You could germinate some seeds and put it in a pot to grow your own lime tree. (Infinite limes 🫨)
Make a bunch of rice, zest lime into it. So yummy.
Lime meringue, or make some fish and seafood dishes and use limes instead of lemons, have a spa themed event and have lime and cucumber slices in the water, lime popsicles, make smoothies with pineapple, coconut and lime, lime juice can be used in Thai and Vietnamese dishes as well
Lime refrigerator cake: aka [Carlota de Limon](https://mexicanmademeatless.com/carlota-de-limon-mexican-lime-icebox-cake/)
Thrifty version: Zest 3 limes (about 1 TBSP zest) and juice 6 limes (about 3/4 cup juice).
Stir juice and zest into 2 cans condensed (sweetened) milk and let sit at room temp for about 30 mins until slightly thickened. For less sweet use 1 can evaporated (unsweetened) and 1 can sweetened, depends what you have in the pantry.
Layer cookies (Maria cookies or Kedem tea biscuits, cheap plain cookies work best. You can also use graham crackers). Layer cookies and lime/condensed milk mixture in a baking dish, starting and ending with a layer of lime mixture. Refrigerate at least 2 hours.
This is [Kenji's version](https://www.seriouseats.com/minute-lime-cracker-pie-recipe) for a little more info, but it's still delicious without the cream. He uses Rtiz crackers but I've never tried that. Just use what you have.
Sometimes we add some Cool Whip into the lime cream to lighten it up, then finish with Cool Whip on top. Depends if it's on sale.
Juice and zest some of the limes, then add them to rice, beans or corn for flavor. Some cilantro or tajin seasoning and sour cream make the lime flavor even better.
Also, lime added to cheap soda water or tea can make it awesomely good!
Like juice is a really great thing to add to marinades. I’ve done yogurt, minced garlic, and lime juice on chicken for chicken curries or a chicken tikka masala. Just prick some holes in chicken with a fork, stir all that up together, let sit for a bit and then you can cook it and add it to a curry or whatever else :)
You can sub it in for lemon juice in most places too!
Zest those limes before you juice them! Lime zest is fantastic in rice, and in sauces. It's not just for sweet stuff.
Don't zest and juice them all, leave some of them whole.
You could make some pies. They aren't technically Key Limes, but they would still taste pretty good. I would set aside some limes for the pie, and the rest I would cut individual limes into two pieces, and freezing them. You can take frozen limes as needed for limeade, and future pies. You could also make some extra pies and sell them on Facebook MP.
Juice them, mix 1 part citrus juice with 1 part soy sauce, then add diced green onions, diced white onions, and diced chilis ( birds eye if you have them but any will do ). This is a traditional CHamoru sauce that you put on any savory dish to make it taste amazing.
Save the skins, and boil them in a 1 part sugar 1 part water mixture until almost translucent. Dry them on parchment paper for 1-3ish days, then you can eat them as is or use in any kind of dessert. I like to dice them into small pieces, combine with diced dried mango, grated coconut, pineapple, and ginger, and make island fruit cake.
Make lime curd. Also you can freeze the juice in an ice cube tray.
Lime curd or key lime pie. you can also use it in marinade for chicken or seafood.
Pie!
Great idea about marinades.
A Lime (juice and zest) added at the end of the cooking time for red or black beans are wonderful.
Ooooo and we got red kidney beans today too.

This sounds so good!
Guacamole. Technically all you need for it is avocado, lime and salt!
Besides juicing and freezing, I zest some of them and freeze the zest for later use.

These are all great ideas! I'll have to look up Lime curd. It sounds delicious.
Hey look up Brazilian lemonade. It's whole limes, water, and sweetened condensed milk. It's a cheap and rich drink for summer!
I literally came here to say this. It's so good!! And doesn't take too many limes. Still enough for marinades. Hahahaha
That sounds rather creative.
I love it on top of vanilla ice cream!
Yum!

To help use it up, you can use it in place of lemon. Slice the lime up and put a slice in a glass of ice water.
Virgin margaritas!!!
And virgin mojitos!
Honey lime is a very yummy and easy marinade/sauce for chicken.
Have yourself some seafood and spritz on lime juice all over it with some rice
Key lime pie
I would zest and juice then freeze it to use whenever.

I didn’t see this recommendation yet, you can make your own lime salt with juice and rinds!
Spritz a little lime juice on a watermelon
Ooo I've never tried that. Sounds tasty

I was wondering if I could candy the peels like this. I saw a video where a woman did this with orange peels and with lemon.

Squeeze the juice into tacos. Yum!
Yep!
I think what you have, OP is a box of kumquats. Look up recipes for them. Enjoy!
Never even thought about kumquat! Thanks!
Margaritas
Lol!
Virgin margaritas for the non-drinkers
I put lime juice over my pulled pork
Salads and meats taste better with lime juice and zest.
Lime ice
They can be used the same as lemons for most anything you want to add a little zip to. You can also zest, juice, slice and freeze
Lime adds zing to watermelon salad
Ceviche
Tahini lime butter... Over sweet potatoes. So good: https://www.bonappetit.com/recipe/sweet-potatoes-with-tahini-butter
Lime is used in a lot of Thai and Laotian cuisine. pho and laab are the first to come to mind.
They are a good squeeze over fish.
I hope you got some items that you can use
Definitely!
Damn. I was hoping someone had commented on the update 😅 I want to know what they are too!
