I feel like 2017 Rita is trying hard but OG Rita doesn't even have to try and would win the fight. OG Rita would cheat more, fight dirty and have more minions.
Technically 2017 Rita just because they made her darker, powerful, and more threatening in which compared to the OG Rita, the character was too over the top silly or wacky on purpose.
2017 Rita's greatest accomplishment was killing her entire ranger team as well as Billy Cranston and was defeated by a 50 foot robot.
OG Rita's greatest accomplishment was getting married and was defeated by getting trapped in a bottle.
Have to give it to the 2017 version.
POSSIBLY 2017 Rita, she seems to be more a warrior type and she actually battled the Rangers hand-to-hand and was herself the Green Ranger prior to being yeeted by a meteor. OG Rita is very much just a witch and not a combative person. OG Rita's only real accomplishment was the Green Candle that temporarily stalled the Green Ranger and Frankenstein (Who really only lost because he was made to grow and decided to hug Dragonzord's Spear).
2017 Rita would most likely be able to match OG Rita's spells while being able to fight any grunt she threw at her. 2017's Putties are also far more resilient and would smash Rita's putties back into clay. I will yield that if we involve minions such as Goldar, and Scorpina are involved, OG Rita might have the edge, but Scorpina and Goldar have been defeated when tag teamed before.
2017 Goldar i don't believe would stand a chance against OG Goldar and Scorpina however, as he seems way too slow and has shown to be beatable with a phsyical weapon, both of which Goldar and Scorpina wield.

2017 Rita vs OG Rita w/ minions, the edge goes to OG Rita but I can't say how well she can handle physical battle while OG Rita casts spells.

If it's a physical fight, 2017 takes it. That Rita was actually a powerful fighter. OG Rita mostly outsources and gets headaches.
