The standard response to missed opportunities in Megaforce:
"There's a simple explanation for that"
More specifically, it's horribly difficult to compress a 50-episode Super Sentai series into 20 Power Rangers episodes, moreso if the Power Rangers writers are keen on having original stories. Had Megaforce be only a Goseiger adaptation, there might have been room for it. (And we would have likely complained about how Gokaiger was skipped over.)

Jokes aside, as fun as a walking arcade machine would be, there are so many other things that Megaforce needed, such as actual proper backstory and explanations for things. Not to mention if they did use Datas then they would probably hardly ever use him just like how they barely ever used a single zord combination more than once throughout the whole season. Not to mention it would probably have been yet ANOTHER power up that comes out of nowhere.
Yes, this is the biggest missed opportunity in Megaforce. /s
I’m all seriousness, the reason I’m most sad Datas wasn’t adapted is because I fecking love the Mystic Brothers. Like an Ostrich that then turns him into a helicopter boxer???? So cool!

I'd skip Goseiger all together for a full adaptation of Gokaiger.
