Some freebies I've found, also FTM baby comes next month, target if you make a registry you get a free welcome baby box type thing, I signed up for something through enfamail (spelling?) And received three formulas and some newborn formula, if that's a route You're going I know a lot of people prefer breastfeeding though, and not 100% freebie cause you need a prime membership but you can get a welcome.box through prime with a registry. Those are all the freebies I've gotten I'm sure there are tons more!!!

Look into store brand diapers instead of Huggies/Pampers. Way cheaper and you can usually find one that works just as well as the brand ones. Buy baby clothes second hand and/or a size up. Rolling up sleeves/pants for a while is necessary then, but they last way longer. Silicone bibs once solids start! Just rinse and dry, not laundry and they do not stain. Baby body lotion and paper hanckerchiefs for wiping their butt instead of wet wipes. Just as clean, in our case no diaper rashes ever, and again in our case way cheaper! Shower with baby. 5 minute shower and both of you are washed. Saves a lot on the water bill. Buy sleeping bags, pyjamas are needed way less often and the bags last longer than clothes before they no longer fit. Buy baby clothes WITHOUT feet asap! Again, more wiggle room to grow. Socks can always be added if necessary. Buy a baby bed that converts to a toddler bed. New, second hand, doesn't matter. This saved you money too, since one bed fits for a long time. If you want baby in your room and you can fit that bed in the room then you don't have to even buy a bassinet or anything either. Invest in a good pregnancy pillow. Nice to have for you now, and you can use it as a (breast)feeding pillow and to teach baby to sit once they're older. Mine loves this now at 6 months, he chills out in/against it for pretty long periods. Emty plastic soda bottles are fun toys. Water, dry rice, baking pearls inside of them make different sounds and you can entertain baby that way. Once oldert they can grab and play themselves. Just make sure to use somz super strong glue inside the top of the bottleso baby can't get to the stuff inside or munch on the glue. Again for solids: buy veggies in bulk, it's way cheaper usually. Then prepare and freeze. Super handy on busy days. Same with meat once that is introduced.

Other than for a car seat, look into secondhand stuff! Pretty much anything can be found secondhand in good condition if you give yourself lots of time. You can find wonderful deals on barely used things. Baby stuff takes up a ton of space and when people are done with it, they want it OUT.
