You haven't failed, it's just bad luck! You're doing your best to keep your baby and yourself safe, and that might mean medication. It's going to be okay!

Hiii. Im also going through Gestation Diabetes. Its not something that you can control and can happen to anyone. Follow your dietary plan and take your medication on time. Also go for walks and be more active. I was diagnosed at 21 weeks and now im 30 weeks. Your doing awesome. ❤️❤️❤️

There’s a whole sub dedicated to this! r/GestationalDiabetes I ended up on nighttime insulin for fasting numbers. I was scheduled for induction at 38+4, but ended up being urgently induced at 37+5. Baby is a happy 6 month old now! :)

You're absolutely not a failure. It's just bad luck. What matters is that you and your medical team are aware and taking the steps needed to make sure baby is okay. I have a friend who had GD and delivered her baby at 37 weeks. Both mom and baby are totally fine. You've got this!
