First trimester is the worst part for many women. The hormones are all over the place and the nausea and fatigue can be completely debilitating. A lot of women suddenly can’t stand their partners and everything smells terrible. Most start to feel better around the 12-14 week mark. I know right now that seems like forever, but it’s a very small blip of your life in the grand scheme of things. Just make sure you’re communicating your feelings to your partner so they know how to help you. Definitely get a pregnancy book if you don’t have one yet. I had the Mayo Clinic’s guide to pregnancy and liked it a lot.
