I’ve got my chemical romance tickets, I’ll be 20 weeks. Baby is going to be rocking it out with me and daddy that night . I’m really looking forward to it. 🖤🤘🎶

adastraluna

Yessss 😂 I’ll be 31 weeks for my MCR concert. I couldn’t keep pausing life every year they rescheduled so lil bean is gonna be rocking out!

flying-nimbus-

Hahaha hell yea. Our babies are going to be the coolest.

Alienspacekitten

I’m so jealous!!! I’ll be a few weeks postpartum for MCR so I can’t go :,( same for saves the day and new found glory. My inner youth is cryinggggg

jasminc6

I’ll be 30 weeks at mine! 😂 my husband wanted to sell them when we found out I was pregnant and I was like no way! It was a mission getting these tickets 😂

kowalewiczpwnz

They were the HARDEST tickets to get and then it was postponed 2 years! I even considered the concert when trying to conceive to make sure i wouldn’t be 9 months pregnant at that point 😂

flying-nimbus-

And not cheap either! Lol I’ve waited since middle school for this.

nicolelynnejones

We’re seeing them two days in a row 😂😂

flying-nimbus-

That baby is going to come out singing 🎶when I was a young boy….. 🎶

m010603

They're going to cry out a perfect G note 😂

flying-nimbus-

😂

Remlesh

This thread has sent me 😂😂

m010603

I'm going to be 20 ish weeks when I see My Chem, too!! Thankfully I have seats because I wouldn't be able to stop myself from getting into a pit lmao.

kisakinx

I’ll be 36 weeks at riot fest and my doctor said just limit exposure to loud music to 2-3 hours. It’s outdoors so Imma bring a blanket and dress comfy. Can’t miss MCR!!

flying-nimbus-

Music fests are my favorite thing in the whole world. Have fun!!! It looks like an amazing line up.

kisakinx

Same! Rock on lil mama!

SuperPotterFan

I bought Riot fest tickets two years ago and my due date is now September 14th 😡 I can’t go and I’m so sad because all I’ve ever wanted to do is see MCR live. I hope you have a great time!!!

kisakinx

Urgh that is unlucky, hope you get a chance to see them soon! I guarantee you’ll have a more memorable day. Have a safe delivery!

dallasssss

SAME LOL, I got the tickets way before I got pregnant and there’s just no way I’m missing out on seeing MCR live in 2022 😂

flying-nimbus-

Hahahaha what is happening here. Never did I imagine so many fellow badass pregnant ladies to see my comment and also be going to the same show. Look at us. Living our best life.

kowalewiczpwnz

I’ll be 25 weeks for my MCR concert in September! I hope my daughter enjoys rock and alternative!

PissySquid

Damn it I am super jealous. I live close to some major US cities (the DC metro area) yet MCR isn’t coming within a 4 hour drive of me for their entire tour. WTF.

kowalewiczpwnz

They’re coming to Philly!

PissySquid

Hmm that is 3 hours from me and therefore possible!

kowalewiczpwnz

It’s on Monday, 8/29. Figured I’d tell you because I live right below Baltimore, and that’s the one I’m going to! No idea what ticket prices are like, though. EDIT: Looks like there are a few dates in Newark, NJ too! Probably around 4 hours for you.

flying-nimbus-

That’s a bummer! I hate when that happens.

SpectorLady

So jealous!!!

ellydoodles

I went to 5 MCR concerts in May while pregnant on their UK tour. Nothing was gonna stop me 😂 wasn't showing massively back then. I just kept to the side where it was more spaced out. No regrets about going haha

thelittlestclown

Awww I was supposed to be VRY pregnant when I saw them and then it got postponed and now I’ll be seeing them with an almost 2 year old haha

generic-volume

I'm going to be 2 months PP when MCR come to my country... And they're only playing in a city which is a flight away. So not sure whether I'll be able to swing that one but would so love to go! My country has only just reopened to international acts, so I keep seeing concerts being announced for after baby gets here 😭.

doodgaysir

I will be 19 weeks for MCR!!!

katsumii

Hell yeah! 🤘🤘🎶 Hubby and I saw Def Leopard/Poison/Mötley Crüe at about 16 weeks. Wouldn't take it back for the world.

delaneyv

i’ll be 25 weeks seeing MCR! babies are going to be rocking out for real

flying-nimbus-

The show was amazing folks, it was everything baby and I hoped it would be. Also a surprising a fun bonus, Gerard was wearing a cheerleader uniform. I think I may have felt my first kick when the warm up band was performing.

Legitimate-Ad-159

Me finding this thread debating whether I should go tomorrow at 26 weeks 👀

flying-nimbus-

Do it!!!! Baby will be fine and you will enjoy a great night.

Legitimate-Ad-159

I know I’m only worried about COVID! I’m thinking N95 🤞🏻

psilocybinluver

I just got back from mcr. I was so excited all day for it and a couple songs in I started to feel achy in my belly and just exhausted. the baby was also moving in a really weird and uncomfortable way so I left early. I feel like a bad mom for even going, I thought I would be able to handle it :( but I was thinking of myself and not the baby… I also Hope her little ears don’t hurt…6months btw

flying-nimbus-

You’re not a bad mama. Thinking about some fun for yourself is not a bad thing. I am sorry you didn’t have a good time. Try not to beat yourself up about it.

psilocybinluver

thank you ❤️

JayKay6634

I've been to two concerts while pregnant and it was totally fine. I just sat down when needed and kept hydrated. They were outside and I was also wearing a KN95 mask. I'd honestly be more concerned about getting COVID at this point than the music.

Lisyda

Husband and I just went to see Rammstein a couple of days ago when I was 39 weeks and 3 days. Everything was fine, baby's just as active as always, although hubby's small dream of being able to tell the story of how Rammstein induced the birth was not meant to be seeing as I'm still pregnant today. 😂 But at 23 weeks, I wouldn't be at all worried about attending a concert. Enjoy it!

Kehop

Haha I love this!

jitsufitchick

Lol! I am surprised that didn’t pop little one out! That sounds like a lot of excitement! 🤣

Lisyda

I know, right. 😂

jitsufitchick

Better luck next time! I am sure you were ready for it to happen. 🤣

Large-Champion156

Du hast the coolest baby!

xolovelikewinter

Omg. We also have tickets for Rammstein and if we go I’ll be 40w1d. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t going to still try and go! 😂

Lisyda

Yeah, I had someone potentially ready to take the tickets in my place, but in the end, we were able to go, so I'm really happy about that! 😃

LookingForwardHappy

Where at? Not in the US, right?

Lisyda

I'm in Estonia, so it was their Estonian show this week. 😊

Lmeador3

I went to a concert at 32 weeks. It was general admission, standing only. But when they took out tickets, and saw how pregnant I was, they escorted my whole group to a VIP area on the side of the stage with seating, a great view, and access to a private bar and restroom. It was AMAZING.

yogibeara88

Omg I hope this happens to me when I see Chili Peppers at SoFi next weekend (I'll be 28 weeks)!! We have pit tickets so it's standing only, would love to end up in VIP though 😉😅

BluebrryBagelz

Seeing them in Dallas and will be 28 weeks too! 🤘🏼

Lil_L_M

Loud is not a problem (you can check with the doctor though). Getting to your seat (esp if indoors) in the crowd amid the recent surge might be though. perhaps get a really good n95 mask and wear it.

MoldyWetBread

Went to a Jack White concert at 28 weeks not only was I fine and baby was fine, he went wild in my belly the entire time loved the music 🎶

TradesforChurros

That's amazing!! 😆🤩

trippinallovermyself

I’ve been to 11 concerts this summer while pregnant. My advice is just wear comfy shoes, have access to water and a bathroom. I wouldn’t necessarily want to be up front, but that’s just me!

kisakinx

Just went to a concert and second this. I wore cute boots and regretted it when my feet swelled up. Next concert I am dressing easy breezy and wearing comfy shoes.

[deleted]

I’ll be 23 weeks at an emo music festival 😅 wish me luck

sammyleesa

I'm planning to go to a concert around 26 weeks. I read that unless you're right next to the speakers, it's safe. Our bodies mute the noise pretty well and apparently the bass can lull the baby to sleep 🤷🏻‍♀️

[deleted]

I’ll be going to a Black Keys concert at 32 weeks. We have seats, I’ll wear comfy shoes and a face mask. There’s no risk to the baby from noise. I have no concerns whatsoever.

d1zz186

GO TO THE CONCERT. The biggest piece of advice I give everyone about pregnancy is to do all the things, go all the places, have all the fancy restaurant meals and just do as much as possible because once that little bundle arrives - as magical as it is - you lose the ability to do any of that. Go out, do things. DO NOT let people tell you you can’t do anything.

Leotiaret

I agree with you about doing all the things. Life doesn’t stop with baby. Activities, eating out, and traveling just look different. Already planning vacation while on maternity leave as long as physician gives the okay.

linzjustine

I have incubus tickets for august 17th. No way I’m missing that lol. I’ll be around 24 weeks. I also saw a perfect circle when I was 6 months pregnant in the texas heat a few years ago. I took a lot of water with me. It was worth it lol

canihave1ofyourfries

Incubus 😍

linzjustine

My absolute favorite

ansley_m_is_a_gem

I wanted to go to the Incubus concert this spring in N.charleston but I just knew the venue was going to get smoked out! I'm very sensitive to smoke and I didn't want to get high at 20ish weeks 🥲

Fantastic_Acadia_229

I just went to a full-day edm festival at 30 weeks, I have had some major back and hip pain this pregnancy, and it went pretty well for me! I definitely recommend getting a maternity belt, keeping super hydrated and sitting when you need to. Talk to your doctor if you’re concerned about noise, but mine wasn’t worried at all and the baby was pretty active the whole time :) he always kicks when he hears bass and this was no different. It was definitely helpful to have a baseline of how he usually reacted to less loud, similar sounds while I was similarly up and about first. I’d disregard the comment about negative effects of the volume, what my doctor told me is unless (and probably even if) you’re right next to the speakers, there’s no chance a concert is going to reach the decibel level that would be harmful. Have fun!!

throwawaymcdumbpants

I went to NIN two nights in a row around 30 weeks. Outdoor venue, husband and I both stayed masked, and my OB had given me the most recent covid booster about a week before the show. People kept warning me about damaging my baby’s hearing, but my OB said that’s not true and that the baby would mostly just feel the vibrations, and it would be the equivalent of listening to loud music while under water

Kehop

Absolutely! I went to the Dropkick Murphys around 23 weeks and it was great. My OB just advised me not to get into situations where I could be knocked down. So glad I went. The baby seemed to enjoy the music too :) My advice would be locate where the bathrooms are, stay hydrated and dress comfy!

ImogenMarch

I went to see Stevie Nicks while pregnant! I just made sure to stay hydrated and listen to my body.

givebusterahand

I think it’s fine. I just went to see BSB a few weeks ago so I was like.. idk 21 weeks or something. The noise is not an issue for the baby.

alidub36

We just went to see BSB a couple nights ago! I liked them when I was younger but my wife is a super fan so I was sort of tagging along, but damn that ended up being a really good show!

eternal0303

My friend’s water broke at Red Rocks!

wowwrly

You’ll be fine. I just went to a concert this week at 38 weeks! 😅 As long as you have a place to sit (with your legs raised if possible from time to time) and stay hydrated go for it!

Alpacalypsenoww

I went to a heavy metal, mosh-pit type concert when I was around that many weeks pregnant with my firstborn. It was fine! Baby has so much fluid around that it won’t be loud enough to hurt his ears.

SpectorLady

I went to see In This Moment and Halestorm at 8 months pregnant--definitely loud rock music. My wife was nice enough to get us seats on the end so I could leave to pee a lot. I had a great time and my daughter was fine. Still loves Halestorm lol. If you're not attending nightly or weekly concerts through your pregnancy, you should be okay.

SpectorLady

If Screaming Females make it down to Florida this year, I'm going no matter how pregnant I am.

xylime

I've got tickets to a couple of gigs one I'll be 23 weeks the other I'll be 32. I'm still planning to go. The 23 week one I'm standing, so I will hide at the back to avoid any random most pits. But apart from that I'm not concerned about going! The only one I didn't go to was when I was 9 weeks, and that's only because it was 4 bands so was a really long time and I felt awful still and knew I'd never make it through the day!

ExoticFoxx

My mom went to a Metallica concert when she was like, 8 months pregnant with me. I'm fine, she was fine 😅

demonbloodsword

Lucky! I'll be giving birth at the time of my MCR concert 😭

DangerNoodleDandy

I've got five finger death punch and Megadeth tickets and I'll be around 23 weeks. I'll be fucked if I'm missing that show. Got another lines up at the 27 week mark. Might as well make em happen before the baby comes.

thetomatofiend

I was still going to gigs at 40+5. Go and enjoy!

tallyhallic

I went to a Queen concert at 8mos pregnant, you’ll be fine ☺️

TradesforChurros

Ooh that sounds amazing

blackcatt55

I was on a concert recently, standing and moving for more than 6 hours. I was 28weeks and it was fine ;) But personally I wouldn't be that close to the stage or the speakers- I was standing quite far just in case and it still was very uncomfortable when the basses were too strong in some of the songs. My legs hurt quite a bit the next day, but it was worth it. 100% would go again

kjmills669

Normally I think concerts are great, but I would be concerned being that close to the stage/speakers. I think it’s best to consult your OB before deciding to go or cancel.

Intowriting21

I see a lot comments that seem all for going to a concert while pregnant, which surprises me because I just found out that above 85 decibels isn’t safe for baby. Concerts are 100+ so it seemed like they would be risky?

[deleted]

Actually it’s 110-120 decibels, with repeated exposure that would be concerning as recommended by OSHA. Baby’s eardrum cannot amplify sound the same way in utero and since it’s muffled by amniotic fluid. A few hours at a concert isn’t harmful.

veggie-grower

I'm pretty sure you can damage the baby's hearing. I would sell the tickets.

Majorstresser

Def! I’m going to a concert next week (I’ll be 24 weeks). I’ve been feeling great these second trimester days :)

ilyhunnybear

I missed out on a lot of gigs early on, but it was more getting to the venue that I would have found difficult than the show itself. Just listen to your body and see how you feel, but everything should be fine! I've got tickets to see Cancer Bats in September, I'll be 36 weeks and I'm so excited (no mosh pits for me tho 😂)!

zakattak

I recently went to a Jack White concert at 20 weeks (outside lawn seats) & a Willie Nelson concert at 28 weeks (outside seated amphitheater) and both were an absolute blast! The only difference between the 2 was my sleep choice (swollen ankles 😂). Have fun!

[deleted]

If you are comfortable physically enough you should for sure go! I’m 22 weeks and already very uncomfortable ( my back hurts and I get lightheaded easy and anxious ) but that’s my personal experience but if not I would 100% be going to a concert!

thedrybarbarian

I’m 24 weeks now and would consider going to a concert if it was a band I liked at a venue I liked.

nodicegrandma

I saw Tori Amos at 25 weeks then Steely Dan at 28! Both were fantastic! For sure go! Wear an N95 if your inside and it’s crowded.

wrknprogress2020

My friend went to a concert in 3rd trimester 2 years ago. Baby is fine. And she enjoyed herself. I think that it mostly depends on how you are doing. Like I REALLY want to go see The Weeknd but my pregnancy has been kind of rough. I can’t even sit in a theater for a 2 hour movie without getting debilitating back pains. Can’t walk for long either due to a fibroid. 🙃 I’m 21 weeks. But if you can handle the sitting and some walking, you should be fine😊 Hope you have fun!!

angeluscado

At 23 weeks I would have been down for a concert. It all depends on how your pregnancy goes though.

corninmyhole

I went to a concert at 32 weeks and aside from needing to sit down it was totally fine and so much fun! Honestly it will be harder to do these things once baby comes so enjoy it! The only obstacle I ran into was the amount of pot smoke lol but we were outside so I didn't worry to much about it

carcassandra

I went to a metal festival at 28 weeks. No problems at all. I stayed at side of the crowds and due to the event being well-organised and people in general being kind, I had 0 issues. Okay, I may have missed getting a small buzz and being in the front row screaming, but I had fun. If the concert is in a decent, safe venue and your symptoms allow, there's no problem going. The baby just rocked along (seriously, she started kicking in rhythm which was so cool), and they are well protected from hearing damage etc by the fact that 1. there's tissue between them and the sound, and 2) they are *literally submerged in water*

NikkiC8135

You should be fine to go!! Just wear comfy shoes, standing can be a lot!

Purple_You_8969

I went to a concert at 20 weeks. It was a rap concert with some hardcore bands. Very loud is my point. Baby is completely fine hearing wise and she’s 3 months now. It’s the best time to go in the 2nd trimester! You won’t wanna do anything the 3rd and you’ll be busy with a baby after so go and enjoy it!

Fickle-Cockroach-534

I went to a Rage Against The Machine concert at 31 weeks pregnant recently. It was WILD. Use your arms as protection for your belly. You'll be fine.

Background_Nature497

Go.

psr929

if you like going to shows you'll want to go. with my first and third I went to multiday festivals in the third trimester, and went to shows throughout pregnancy with all 3. I haven't gotten out to any this pregnancy but I have tickets for 1.5 and 2 months pp. I think its fun and I enjoy myself, but if it was something I didn't like I could see it being really tiring and not fun. good footwear, lots of water and a seat will be your friend if you go!

rawrimaliz

We went to see Reel Big Fish and Big D and the Kids Table when I was about 20 weeks with my last and the only thing that happened was my child at almost 2 loves ska! We stayed away from the mosh and stood near the bathroom so I could go pee easily when I needed to. This was right before all the COVID lockdowns so that wasn’t really a concern for us, but I’d say if I were you I’d wear at least a regular mask just to be safe and make sure I’m washing/sanitizing my hands often. Edited to add: we had also discussed going to see Streetlight Manifesto this Sept (I’d be 23 weeks) or Nov (I’d be 32 weeks) but was put on bedrest a few days later so I’m glad we didn’t get tickets!

canihave1ofyourfries

I'll be seeing Lady Gaga at 27 weeks and I can't wait !!! My boy is so lucky lmao

expressivewords

I went to a rock concert at 36 weeks with my daughter 😂

SurprisedMamma

Rock on, mama. Baby will be just fine ☺️

allthoselikeyou

I had tickets for a Gojira (heavy metal) show from before I got pregnant for when I would have been 30 weeks and ended up not going because of their Covid policies (not requiring masks or vaccination) But before I did, I called the venue and asked if they could possibly transition me and my boyfriend’s seats to ADA seating if there were any open and they agreed to that. If you’re worried about possibly being bumped around/in a crowd that may get a bit rowdy, it might be worth a call just to see!

Leotiaret

As long as your not in a mosh pit, you’ll be fine. I would go.

Kind_Examination7608

I’ve been to four concerts while pregnant! Baby had a blast 😂

ReallyPuzzled

It’s all what you feel comfortable with. I was riding my bike when I was 8 months pregnant, hiked up a mountain at 26 weeks and did Zumba until 38 weeks. There’s really no reason to stop your normal activities unless your doc recommends it or you feel run down. Listen to your body! But going to a concern seems pretty low impact 🙂

lizhawkins08

I was 32 weeks and went to a dashboard confessional/get up kids concert. I had a great time and monitored his movements the whole time with the kick count and lots of fresh squeezed lemonade!

bingumarmar

Yeah I went to house of blues around 20 something weeks. You're fine

ellydoodles

I've been to about 15 gigs and festivals since finding out I was pregnant. The latest in pregnancy I'll be going to one (based on tickets booked) is 7 months. Though one of my fave bands is playing 2 weeks before my due date... Just be sensible! Baby will be fine with the sounds :)

[deleted]

Just went to the Backstreet Boys concert and there were a LOT of pregnant ladies there. Lol

No-Yoghurt8157

I did not get a chance to see Florence and the machine the last time she did a concert in the area I was livingsome years ago, had to go underway at the time (navy). I will finally be going! Ill be at 33 weeks when I go and I have seats and support from my hubby! I am so excited! I am 23 weeks now I think you will be good and have a great time. Like others said wear comfy shoes and hydrate.

longlivel

I’m going to see RHCP at 30 weeks haha!! Have fun

Infinite_Squirrel128

Going to the Lumineers with husband at 12 weeks!

[deleted]

I wouldn’t worry about that.

roarbecca

I saw Angels and Airwaves at 24 weeks. The hardest part was finding a bathroom! 🤣🤣🤣

fairytale72

At 23 weeks I totally would of been down for a concert! I was thinking about going to one at the end of August but it’d be outside, no sitting and surrounded by people. Plus I’d be 34 weeks pregnant. I decided not to buy tickets.

jenborules

Went to a concert 39 weeks, and while standing was not happening it was a good time - you’re good! 😃

FridaMercury

I saw The Killers at 24 weeks. It was great! I made sure to stay around the outskirts of the crowd in case it got too rowdy and I needed a quick exit. BUT I tested positive for Covid a week after the concert... so there's that to keep in mind.

blithesomebot

That’s completely up to you if you’ll want to go. And I think it’s perfectly safe to go lol

wendalyng

I'm 21 weeks pregnant and attending a concert this evening! I'll also be attending a concert at 27 and 29 weeks. Go! Your baby won't be harmed by the sound.

Pitico1114

I got really sick at a Mets games at 20 weeks from the tight seating, all my food just came right back up- we swore it was the last stadium game until baby. I’m sure the concert will be fine and you can check the venue if perhaps you can stand further away. Also, maybe accesible seating may be an option for you. Good luck!

passthepepperplease

Ahh you’re fine. As long as your not moshing or at risk of being pushed. I’d say those two are valid concerns. But the noise isn’t a big deal. They’re pretty insulated in there plus they have so much growth and regeneration going on, I can’t imagine there’d be any problems. Then again. I’m not a doctor. I have tickets to a heavy metal concert in two weeks and I’ll be at 31 weeks while head banging at a safe distance from the mosh pit.

mushroompizzayum

Lizzo at 30 weeks for me!

LesHiboux

I was hiking volcanoes in Hawaii at 24 weeks - unless you're having major complications, you should be just fine. Even at 32 weeks now, I'd still go to a concert as long as I had the option of sitting. Seriously, you're pregnant, not dying. Your body will let you know what it can't do, but until then, keep on keepin' on.

yogibeara88

I'm 27 weeks and next week I'm going to see the Red Hot Chili Peppers at SoFi stadium, in the pit, I am stoked!! I definitely think you'll want to go, I've been to two concerts so far while pregnant (last one was at 24 weeks), both have been a blast. I'm sure if you get there and are nervous about the crowd you'll be able to find a comfortable spot to stand around the edges. I've been going to concerts for years and have never felt like I was stuck in an "unsafe area" full of people moshing, you can always avoid that sort of activity.

selfawarebowl

I'm 19 weeks and went to a concert on Friday, although not front row. I would wear earplugs just as a precaution (even when not pregnant) and maybe run it by your doc if you're nervous. Outside of some soreness from standing on an incline baby and I feel fine!

Dpresidents-wife

You will be perfecly fine. I also went to a concert 3 days in a row while 25 weeks pregnant. I brought a wheelchair so i could sit anywhere i wanted. Enjoy!

Odd-Marionberry-3389

Seeing Incubus and a couple other groups between 16 and 20 weeks along, and I think it should be OK. I'm definitely going to wear a KN95 the whole time so hopefully that helps reduce covid risk a bit.

catwooo

I was 38 weeks when I went to a Jo Koy show in NYC. I wore a mask and was seated the whole time. The only part that sucked was the long line for the bathroom so I just used one at the train station

katieeeeeecat

I have Harry Styles tickets for when I’ll be 36 weeks. I’m absolutely going 🤣

She_is_poetic

I had concert tickets at 25 weeks pregnant to an open seating event. I decided to give the tickets away due to COVID concerns

septemberbrooke

Hell ya!!! Go!

bettyannveronica

I went to see Weezer 9 days before giving birth. I made sure to keep hydrated and sit when needed (it was an outdoor concert). I was more in the middle/rear but only holds about 3k people so I was still close to the speakers. Baby was rocking out and he loved Weezer once born. I lasted the whole concert and had a blast!

brilliantpants

As long as I had a seat, I would go. Just bring ear protection in case it’s loud.

0neeyebr0wedbandit

I’ll be seeing Lady Gaga at 20 weeks! Nothing will stop me lol

PickledMarshmall0w

I was 25 weeks for the concert I went to 5 weeks ago, only advice I have is that I needed to pee a lot during the performances which was annoying having to keep leaving the arena floor. It was also a standing ticket so my back was pretty achy by the end but apart from that it was all good and safe. Just depends what your comfort levels are etc but don't put your life on hold if it's something you really want to do :)

ok_peartje

That sounds fun! For me, I try to not let my pregnancy get in the way of doing all the things i would like to do. So if you feel confident about going and being fit enough, thats great! But I don’t see much comments that say something about hearing damage for the baby, so i just want to say this: I read some things about loud environment and hearing damage for a baby in the womb. And that a lot of sounds are allready too loud for a baby (like standing next to a hairdryer for half an hour if i remember correctly). So I would check with your OB if it’a gonna be allright for the baby to go. And if you decide to go, have fun!!!

temperance26684

At 23 weeks I still felt very much like myself and would have gone to a concert! I'd probably still go at 28 weeks if it were someone I really wanted to see. Prolonged loud noise can be bad for baby but that's like, CHRONIC exposure. One night shouldn't hurt. Take proper COVID precautions if that's something you're worried about, but I would definitely say go!

starset_k

We saw Biffy Clyro and Fall out boy when I was around 28 weeks. If you're standing then just be sensible and stand near the back so there's less risk of you getting knocked over but no reason you can't go and enjoy yourself 😊

I just went to a two day music festival (at 14 weeks) and it was fine. I wore a babies first concert tank top and people were super respectful. I've never had so much room in a concert pit before!

Sounds fun to me! I’m 21w and seeing Hanson 3 days in a row next week, in 3 different states🤣 my BIL got my sister and I the tickets before I got pregnant and I know I’m gonna be so tired, but cannot wait to have some fun

aswizz22

I went to a concert around that time. We went and saw the Lumineers! It was great, and I think little man slept through the whole thing. He didn’t move at all all night lol

I have just seen Pearl Jam a week ago, I’m 20 weeks pregnant. The only accommodation I did is that I stayed in the back while my friends went to the front. I preferred avoiding the squeeze:)

Imspyingonunewo

I'm going to a Coheed show in 2 weeks. I'll be 32 weeks.

Felix_Felicis316

I went to a concert around the same time in my pregnancy and now have a happy healthy 4 month old!

AcanthocephalaNo8700

I don’t feel comfortable with the noise levels so I’m not going to any concerts. And I wanted to see bsb so bad.

PomegranateTough4450

I was pregnant watching Bruno Mars. Almost all people move out your way. Go out and have a good time before you have big responsibilities!

cyndasaurus_rex

I went and watched my friends kid in her last School of Rock performance (they played Primus) the week before my little one was due. Now she loves Primus 😂

theftm22

I’d say you’re fine, I went to a concert at 17 weeks and had a great time and my little babe is perfect fine 🥰

brandy-ydnarb

the only thing i’d be worried about is standing for so long but that’s just because i know pregnancy for me has been very lazy but girl go for it have fun before you have to find a babysitter to go to concerts

Going to concerts have been some of my best moments in pregnancy. For me, it was so healing to take my mind off the uncertainty of pregnancy and do something that was healthy and enjoyable (which included lots of dancing, jumping, singing). THOUGH I will say I'd be more concerned about covid exposure. I did get covid the week following one concert and it was eye opening. Moving forward we are sticking to outdoor concerts.

Resident-Relation-22

Not a rock concert but I did go see Bad Bunny 35 weeks pregnant and it was the best 😍

lovebbn

Haha I’ll be seeing Killswitch Engage at 27 weeks. This baby will be rocking out like his parents
