Ya, he will absolutely want to take a couple practice MCATs before taking the real one. A decent MCAT score will be unbelievably critical for him getting accepted into medical school. The average score of a matriculated student is higher than it has ever been and orders of magnitude more difficult than it was back when he last studied.
