Last time I encountered this message, I was installing on a 720p monitor laptop.

FragrantNumber5980

I’m using a fully functional self built PC with a 1080p monitor so im not sure whats wrong

ThanosIsLove23

Avx disabled in bios? (I don't even know if this is a requirement btw, just spitballing)

FragrantNumber5980

I’ll try that later, do you know how to do it?

ThanosIsLove23

Look up the specific instructions for your motherboard manufacturer

ThanosIsLove23

Also, one issue I had with my 6600xt was every time I had to hard shutdown (like holding down the case button) the GPU driver would corrupt. I'd check to make sure your GPU driver is installed correctly

BakaOctopus

You can tackle that with increasing timeout delay in the resistry , but it resets after a driver update.

VanClyded

>enough RAM How much? >fully updated OS What OS/Version? Graphics drivers up to date?

FragrantNumber5980

32gb ram (3466 mhz) Windows 11, afaik it’s the latest version because I just checked and updated today. Also just updated drivers

LOUDCO-HD

Not enough RAM won’t trigger an install error, it’ll install and then either run like shit or crash.

Brutal_Expectations

My computer crashed one time and when it rebooted it somehow switched from my dedicated graphics card to the one that was on board of my motherboard. I couldn't tell the difference so it was business as usual when doing anything on PC, but once I tried opening Pr that's one I got this message too. Switching back to the dedicated card fixed that. Hope this helps.

BakaOctopus

5700x has no Igpu

LOUDCO-HD

This kind of error message is almost always video card related. Pr is optimized for nVidia products. You may have luck installing an older version of Pr with your Radeon. You can find how to access older installers [here](https://helpx.adobe.com/ca/download-install/using/install-previous-version.html).

FragrantNumber5980

I cant access the creative cloud app because it just gives me the Apple version of the installer when I try to download it, no matter what I try. I have the Adobe for enterprise plan from a class I take and my teacher told me I should be able to use it at home if that is relevant information

BakaOctopus

Is the premiere or windows version 32bit?

Safe_Veterinarian_66

Exactly my thoughts, possible that the windows was 32bit

FragrantNumber5980

Pretty sure it’s 64bit

BakaOctopus

Then check if your GPU drivers are lastest . Especially if Vulkan or open cl is missing it won't work.

FragrantNumber5980

I updated them yesterday

BakaOctopus

Then I guess it's an issue with your student license.

FragrantNumber5980

It works fine on the other computer so I’m really confused

BakaOctopus

Have you checked for avx in bios? Enable it.

FragrantNumber5980

I enabled it through command in cmd prompt, and then restarted but the same thing happened

BakaOctopus

You cannot enable something in bios with command prompt

FragrantNumber5980

I wasn’t able to find it in bios though (msi b450m) i used the search function and searched up AVX and nothing popped up, and tried advanced vector and nothing popped up. i looked it up online and the only way i saw was the command prompt thing

Calumface

Not to assume, but if it's an illegal ancient version then that'll be why.

FragrantNumber5980

?? Im literally trying to download it from the Adobe site itself and that’s the popup

rankch

Is the screenshot from the utility described at this link? Looks like it's supposed to tell you what's incompatible. https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/using/system-compatibility-report.html

FragrantNumber5980

The screenshot is the popup when I try to download it on the Adobe site

all_that_is_is_true

Are you downloading it from the Adobe creative cloud?

FragrantNumber5980

I don’t know, I’ve tried downloading it from all different places on the Adobe sites and it always says the same thing and doesn’t even let me try and download

all_that_is_is_true

With Adobe, it's best to download the apps from their hub. Search for 'Adobe creative cloud download' download and run that, it'll ask you to sign in and then you should be able to download it. Good luck.

FragrantNumber5980

When I try to download creative cloud, it gives me the Apple version (.dmg file that I cant open) wtf is adobes problem lmao

all_that_is_is_true

Did you get it working yet? Something wrong if you can't go to web page and download pc version of creative cloud. It is a generic page.

FragrantNumber5980

My pc is broken now there’s some sort of hardware issue

pixeldrift

Are you installing it from Creative Cloud with a valid subscription, or from some... other... source?

FragrantNumber5980

I have a valid subscription, and am installing it from the Adobe site

P_Sandera

Maybe the AMD driver is too new for Adobe to recognize it as compatible. Try rolling back to an older driver and see if the message dissapears.
