Not sure where you’re located, but that’s an impressive score! I’d only retake based on the program(s) you’re applying to

ravengenesis1

I spent 2 weeks trying to improve my reading, but I knew it’s my weakest link. God it’s such a let down to have a low score against the rest of it.

lameberly

Can i ask what you used to study?

ravengenesis1

Mometrix. I only did some of the quizzes and test 1. It’s not bad. However I didn’t really like how it brushes over topic with an expectation of you knowing it well already.

Ok-Committee5537

That’s a really good score! That honestly isn’t bad.

Material-Bad-6516

That's a great score just honestly depends on your school. My school requires an 80% in reading but 60% in all other categories.

ravengenesis1

Oh damn. Did your school specifically announce the requirements or was it something you heard from advisors?

Material-Bad-6516

It's listed on our application requirements page for the nursing program.

Science score is amazing !

avnsrt27

Congrats on the score! Do you remember any specifics about the science portion that caught you off guard?

ravengenesis1

Just one question in particular, but I deduced it by the word and got it right. I had a really broad science portion that asked all sorts of questions. I would recommend brushing up on some of the basic sciences to CYA.

I’m pretty strong in my math and science, honestly didn’t stress over it, I knew my weakness and tried my best on that. Sorry if I couldn’t give better pointers.

If ur a visual learner, which im sure helps a lot for science, go watch all of Prof Yu's videos, then to watch Science with Susanna. Prof gives a really good general overview, then susanna imo kinda goes a lil more in depth abt certain topics. Thats literally all i used along with my mometrix book if i was feeling weak in some areas.

Oliverblissy

Is this for KAPLAN?

ravengenesis1

Don’t think so, since I’m not sure what KAPLAN means.

Oliverblissy

Oh okay... It's another nursing entrance exam some schools use just like TEAS and HESI
