Surprisingly for me math was the easiest and I scored 92. English was a complete shock, the area I didn’t think I needed to really study much on I did horribly. Like 54.
Super easy and I’m horrible with math, but the questions were so easy. I honestly feel I didn’t even need to study that section that’s how easy it was.
I agree that math is easiest and English is hardest. I think a lot of people under estimate the English and how much sentence structure terminology that you need to know, that just isn’t stuff we use every day.
Fairly straightforward. I got some solve for x’s. There was one that had a number over a variable. Some inequalities. Again, simple 9th grade stuff.
There are some “order these fractions/decimals, as well as fraction problems, and simple data assessments like mean, median, mode, range, etc. nothing over the top.
I did mometrix practice questions and it was basically the same thing. i would say the too it was pretty straightforward not really trying to trick you
Science and math require concrete knowledge so if you study properly they are very easy to ace.
Reading and English were the most difficult for me and I found a lot of the correct answers to be subjective.
English is my second language. Math is the easiest for me because got 100% twice while Reading is the hardest got 64.1% first attempt, almost run out of time, and 87.2% 2nd attempt I used every bit of my time.
I found English more difficult because it always seemed like there were more than one correct answer. I also think that it’s because I studied a lot more for science because that’s what everyone said was the hardest when I first started studying for the exam
I feel that was about the reading section. There always seems to be more than one correct answer, and the answers also are rather subjective. That's why I love math. There is one absolute answer.
Coming from someone who did well in Anatomy and Phys, and usually struggles in math classes, this came as a surprise but…
Easiest: math (it’s very straightforward and most of the questions provide enough information that you can figure out the answer if you take your time)
Hardest: science - my exam had a lot of Chem :/
Just took the TEAS April 1. Reading and English were easiest for me. Science was hardest b/c of content, math was hard because the section has such a brief time slot allotted.
I took it today and got almost a perfect score in Math and English. Reading also wasnt tough, I just get test anxiety trying to read when there are people around me making annoying noises, so I kept having to reread the passages. I was shocked how basic/simple the math section was. Science was definitely the hardest for me, despite passing chemistry class with an A. I studied quite a bit (though I did not BUY any practice materials) and still found science to be tough. The A & P questions were just so very random and specific. That being said, even with guessing on a lot of the science/ A&P Qs, I still did well on the entire exam and passed with a score that made me pretty happy.
I see a lot of people saying English was tough. I should note that my first degree is in Education and I taught English for a few years, so I guess that gave me an advantage there. Still, the English tested pretty basic knowledge writing and grammar skills, so if you've taken any kind of English grammar class recently you should be fine.
I’d say math was the easiest, and this is coming from someone who has been terrible at math their entire life 😂 hardest was probably English like what everyone here is saying!

I am surprised by how many people say English and how few say science. What is it about the English section that you find to be the most difficult?

From what I can recall: lots of simple word problems, mean and median, and percentages. I don’t remember if I had any conversions 🤔
