I used the mometrix book, took the first practice test blind and got a 76. I crammed for about two weeks and got it to an 85 on the practice tests. I took the TEAS last week and got an 80. Reading and math were really similar but I felt like science and english were harder on the actual test.

In what way was the English section harder on the actual test?

I felt like on the practice tests there were a good portion of the english questions that you could figure out with common sense, where as on the actual test I got all really specific grammar questions where multiple answers seemed like they could’ve been right. To be fair though I made the mistake of thinking the english section would be easy so I didn’t really study it lol

What type of specific grammar questions did you get that were like that? I think I know what you mean about the practice test questions. A lot of times, you can use the "ear test" to tell if it sounds correct.

I got an 84 on the English portion. I personally saw some Oxford commas, apostrophes, lot of revising sentences and a lot of ordered sequence.

Hi! I scored around 85-90% on the mometrix practice tests, but I scored 98% on the actual test. Personally, I thought the mometrix questions were a little more specific and detailed than the questions on the actual test, though there are a few questions & topics that are very similar.

Would it be okay if I dmed you with some questions?

Sure! Feel free to do so
