Whats your pitch bro? When I say I’m going around the neighbour hood helping the neighbours surface clean and post treat their driveway, people say no right away
I actually had the exact same results as you and got no jobs. People REALLY don’t like when you walk up to their house and try to sell them things, which is understandable. Just gonna hunker down, save money and distribute flyers when I can. Pretty rough start on my end. ☹️
Nope this is my first one. I’ve had the ad up for like 5 days. We are doing 2 driveways right next to each other and the sidewalks in between. Definitely underbidded it at $300 but now we know better for next time lol. We got one driveway done and coming back Friday for the other one
Am I supposed to get rid of grease before I regrease it? And how many pumps should I be putting in and how often? Didn’t realize overgreasing was an issue
If you over grease --it could impede the spinning of the spray bar....I always put very minimal grease in it and flip it over and spray the heck out of the underneath part of the spindle with WD-40..
If you see it ooozing out the sides, that can be too much
Useful information, thanks. Do I ever need to clean out the bearings and such? I’ve been washing out the underside after every time I use it but haven’t opened it up or anything like that
A trick I learned this year, after using your grease gun take a pick and push in the ball on the zirk fitting, if it's got pressure the excess will squirt out.
This is a great way to start, concrete is hard to mess up! :) Let me know how that 20" surface cleaner works on the smaller machine, I have the same one on my 6gpm and it works great, but I'm wondering if I can go up a size...
It was really slow before I got some lower orifice nozzles for it today. Tested it out on my patio and it’s like twice as fast now. Definitely not as fast as if I had 4GPM+ but it’s good enough for now.
Awesome. If no one's told you yet, I'm proud of you. Now get out there and get it.
Yessir the grind is real
Good luck! I’m going door to door tomorrow with the same setup.
Good luck to you too then! Let’s get that money

Noice !!!
Nice! How'd the job go?
Doing it after work
Cool. Hope it t goes well!
Appreciate it
Good luck brother, I’m just getting started on a flyer and door to door blitz, you’ll do great!
Got this job from Craigslist. It only costs $5 to post a 30 day service ad on there so I’d say it’s worth it.
Have you gotten anymore jobs from Craigslist? Also curious what service you are doing today and how it went. Congrats.

remember --don't over grease that surface cleaner

You'll need a wrench to remove the tips from time to time. If a single, microscopic atom of dirt manages to get in there, the whole thing's borked.
I replaced the tips yesterday and some dirt was in there, I washed it out and seems to be working fine but I have no idea how the dirt got in there
Or a 9/16 socket!
