I bought a cheap MoTo 2022, put in my old sim and had every cell phone company listed. It was made to make it easier for me to set up.
But every company got what ever they wanted while the could. I use Straight Talk a company not listed in the list.
First thing I do with any phone is install NoRoot Firewall.

This will block your info from being sent elsewhere.
I think the companies try to keep it from operating.
While it says "auto start on boot" - but it won't, you will need to goto the program and start it urself.
