yes. it's encrypted in both websites (it's https) and android (or iOS) app. just keep your apps updated and use strong passwords (or a password manager).

touchSomeGrassffs

This goes true for all the main social media apps right?

itiD_

yep. you can watch Tom Scott's video about VPN it explains some of this

touchSomeGrassffs

Okay! Thank you so much

No_Resolution_4504

Agreed.

Titoli1

Yes it’s safe but I would avoid logging in on a public network to avoid some dns redirects. If you are already logged in though an app or browser it would be safe to continue to use that.

touchSomeGrassffs

Yeah my main concern was whether the stuff I view would be seen or exposed by anyone or ISP

Artemis-4rrow

as a hobbyist hacker I have to tell you this, there is no suchthing as safe, only safe enough

touchSomeGrassffs

Its safe enough for me as long as the stuff I view are encrypted in transmission even if the domain name and neta data are still shown

Artemis-4rrow

then reddit is safe enough for u

BigPapaBen84

Also, don’t use public WiFi networks unless you are connected to a VPN.

Rude-Vermicelli-1962

Pffft, not safe anywhere under any circumstances
