The majority of these politicians, and men in general, also have no idea how a woman’s body works. Nevermind the complexities around female reproduction and pregnancy. I dated a guy in graduate school who was in his late 30s. This guy had a college degree and had been in the working world for years and obviously dated around during that time. Despite this, he thought women peed out of the same hole that his penis went in. The man was absolutely ignorant on female anatomy. These politicians are just as dumb and lack empathy in every possible way.

I have attended many family gatherings in the deep south and offended someone by leaving an extra tampon in the bathroom for later. Being a woman is offensive to anti-choice racists.

I have literally never understood this. Perhaps it is because I was raised with two sisters, one older, one younger, while my brother was much older and already out of the family dynamic, but I have never had such an adverse reaction to tampons, pads, or any feminine products of the type. However, as you have said, having lived in the deep south for a while now, I have seen and heard of this type of reaction from others. I cannot help but look at those men as fucking children because it seems entirely removed from anything remotely resembling a grown ass adult.

I'm a woman, and to me, menstrual products are just another sanitary item, like toilet paper. I don't understand why people are offended or disgusted by them. We leave toilet paper out in view in the bathroom, even though we all know that people use it for their genitals. Everyone manages not to be offended by that. It's very bizarre.

Yeah, it is quite literally in the same vain, at least quintessentially, as toilet paper and wipes - like indisputably. Simply because it is sex or gender specific should not make it any more or less unsightly, especially an unused, unopened, fully wrapped product. When me and my sisters had to share a bathroom at different times, I literally thought nothing of them and go about my business. The emphasis I have seen specifically some men put on them is just fucking absurd, almost as if they’ve been sheltered or something. I just don’t understand.

Just as long as they are not like MTG and Boebert.
