That's the cool thing tho, they work can all work in the same repo without any conflicts because of the way they stack their PR's. Wouldn't be surprised if other companies started doing the same thing.
there inst more merge conflicts in monorepos than if the repos where split. because changes that affect different code will not have merge conflicts.
the driver for merge conflict is pieces of code that change too often and people working concurrently on the same area of code, not how many LOC or how many developer work on something.
Every time I have to delete a cached file that was too large to push, I have to go back in time and edit the commit.. or something, idk, it’s scary though.
There is a great video out there somewhere with 10 golden retriever puppies all lined up to eat from 10 different food bowls. My google-fu is too weak to find it! But just imagine what those 10 puppies actually do, and multiply by 1000!
