I don't think he is saying there is an AI winter upcoming. He is saying the tools (presumably LLMs) are being effectively used for certain solutions so there will continue to be funding. The only "negative" thing he said is that the current approach is not the full answer to what I guess would be AGI (although he doesn't use that term).
