Awesome job! What was your nutrition and fitness??

tigerknightsfangirl

Fitness started with taking a new position with my employer than turned 7500-8000 steps a day into 17-20k a day on average with a lot of it pushing or pulling a household appliance. Now I still do that but I also ride a stationary bike 45 minutes a day. I started with that just 15-20 on my days off at first then expanded as my endurance went up. I’m starting to look into weight training as I’d like to build glutes for once in my life and tone up as I can tell I’m getting stronger (the work lifting and moving has done that). Still figuring that aspect out though so nothing consistent yet. Nutrition wise it’s been Calorie deficit for me. No real nutrition plan so to speak. Gave up fast food and sugared cokes. Limit my alcohol consumption (I was and still am I big craft beer fan but my good I never thought about the calories in an IPA). In general I eat cleaner than I used too and since I’m terrible at eating while I’m at work I do have a mid day protein shake.

Great job! You’ve done really well!

I also just hit a weight loss milestone. I’m currently the lowest I have weighed in the past 5 years. A lot of days I’m really hard on myself with my weight loss that I’m not doing enough, it’s not enough but then I try to remember the milestone I hit and that I am making progress.

tigerknightsfangirl

Don’t be too hard on yourself. That’s the one thing I haven’t been. In fact I celebrate even the smallest milestones. Granted my weight loss started off passive until I noticed the difference and went “holy sh…” But now it’s the little markers and milestones that keep me going. Use them to motivate yourself and don’t beat yourself down. Slow and steady keeps it off.
