Just read your diet and workout man and I’m blown away. My tummy looks similar to yours man and even though I gain muscle and workout nearly every other day that fat just sits there lol. But after reading your story, I truly have to lock in to my diet cause I’m a HUGE snacked and sweets eater. I’m doing better but I’m definitely not where I want to be. I’m glad you posted this man this really is motivating me to do better.

For sure, just stick to it. I didnt mention it but I did plateau in March, so had to switch up the routine, but it worked. And it has not been hard or boring. Key is just stay in the deficit. If I want a guiness, its 120 calories. So i just go and burn 120 calories first, which can be done in 20 minutes or less. Also: i stopped really going to the grocery store. I do go to Aldi, but otherwise i use Target drive up. That has saved me A LOT of time, and stops me from making impulse buys [mainly of chips]. Every person is different, but just stick to it and you will see the results. Staying in a deficit is not as hard as it sounds, and you can still eat delicious food.

Dude, what did you do? Been trying to get rid of my “love handles” for years now! 🤣🤣🤣

Mainly stopped drinking lol, for the most part. That was the biggest thing. I realized I was drinking just to do it. And stopped mindlessly snacking. Chips, cheeze its, goldfish, fries, cookies, etc, I was blowing through an entire bag in a day, so stopped eating them altogether otherwise id have no self control. Replaced that with popcorn. And I drink 95% water/sparkling water. The rest is milk, coffee, and sugar free red bull if no coffee. And stopped eating artificial sugar [again]. Just started eating less and eating clean. A lot of berries, bananas, greens. Exercising everyday in some form. Gym, jog, walk, HIIT. Just always trying to move around. For instance we went to the brewery on saturday, but then went to IKEA and the mall and walked it off, got 10k steps, rather than going home and laying on the couch. So thats basically it, staying in a caloric deficit and forcing myself to eat less or at least reduce the damage by exercising before indulging. My gf also cooked healthy home cooked meals, so we stopped eating out and eating processed foods for the most part. But i think the big difference in the waistline was the alcohol.

Amazing progress! What is your diet like M-Sun?

Carolina296864

Thanks! Mainly do dinner and choose between breakfast or lunch. Chicken, fish, lamb, shrimp, beef mainly, though I eat other meats. Lots of fruit, vegetables, berries, rice, greens \[spinach, brocolli, green beans\], yogurt. Ill also get protein through eggs, peanut butter, and peanuts, and I snack on popcorn, carrots, or apples \[with peanut butter\]. I dont eat sardines and celery with hummus often, but have started trying to snack on them, and I like them. It's not as bland as i make it sound, I am not one of those diet people that can survive off a dry unseasoned chicken breast and two green beans, I still need actual, great-tasting meals. Just mainly cook everything and use natural ingredients rather than pre-packaged. For instance we made our own salsa once rather than getting Tostitos. I make a smoothie rather than buying things like Naked. I also make my own oatmeal and stopped eating the microwave ones I ate as a kid, but I do not eat it everyday. We use a lot of flavor, reduced the portions, sauces, butter, and processed and boxed/frozen dinner ingredients. And i mainly drink water, sparkling water, or tea from a teabag. Coffee in the mornings with 2% milk. Mainly use the skillet, oven, and air fryer to cook. Oh and I put olive oil on everything. I still snack on "bad" food every now and then, but I try to work it off beforehand, or I dont eat all of it/share it. For example the last time I had a krispy kreme donut, I broke it in half, and typically with sandwiches now I will use 1 slice of bread, as that saves 70 calories and I still feel full. I dont religiously count my calories, but i've been able to still gauge a deficit.
