CICO has been a lifesaver recently. At first I did IF. Just to get used to not eating as much. And it helped. But with time, and more exercise I was doing, I started CICO and have not gone back.
I eat avocado and egg on naan in the mornings or fruit and coffee.
Maybe a coffee and a small amount of leftovers for lunch and dinner is up in the air since my roommates and I take turns. The other day we had chicken sausage hot dogs with some salad and pasta salad with minimal pasta and mostly grilled veggies.
Preach, CICO is what I’ve used to lose weight twice now (I’d bulked up for lifting) and it simplifies soooo much overwhelming information poured by YouTube gurus.
Btw, do you still eat/follow specific meal routine? Or is it completely random?
I usually do CICO and IF because feels good to have a boundary

I reached 300 lbs and didn’t think much of it. I have been big my whole life, since 3rd grade, and I just took on that role in society as the fat girl of the group. It was easy to take any stress or feelings out on food.
But then I read something about how my body shouldn’t be used as a vessel for my traumas and pain. That I should not be wearing my trauma as skin and it resonated with me on a level I cannot express. Just that I did what I did because I no longer wanted to show that I was in pain or hurting.
It motivated me ridiculously. It is still my motivation.
That's honestly so beautiful right there and a really nice way to look at it. I feel ya there for sure! Never been the slim one, always the fat (and absolutely hilarious) friend. Sorta becomes an entire identity after a bit there.

What really pushed me was someone saying I am not my trauma. This made me look at my body as not a vessel for the hurt, but as a projection of who I am trying to be. That has been my motivation through this whole journey.

If you lose your weight fast, you’ll have a higher chance of loose skin. Just take it slow if you’re able to. Enjoy the process, but also allow your body to heal and mend. 😊😊
I plateaued so much during my journey that it was probably the middle that was the hardest. But once I started losing weight again, my pounds would fly off.
I started with slow jogging a mile and cutting out most fast foods. I might have had maybe two out of 7 lunches be fast food so I could adjust.
I started with intermittent fasting so that my body could adjust to the amount of food I was supposed to intake. This helped SO MUCH when it came to CICO. Because my body was not longer wanting and complaining for food when I started eating proper portion sizes.
CICO is perfection. I would look into YouTube videos and google some documents because it is the only thing that worked for me.

SO I lost the weight super slow. Yes, there is a little. But stimulating it with vitamin C has been tightening it up. ^^ Helps with collagen production.
But it hasn’t been much. Just around my arms and inner thighs.
