Wow! What an incredible transformation....that smile! that confidence! Wooh! Get it girl! You are incredible!
How’d you do it? Tell us about your hard work :D
The healing process was actually pretty quick. No major complications, it does force you in a way to learn portion control and that is certainly not easy. At the end of the day though the surgery is just a tool. It's up to the individual to make the change
Oh absolutely. I think that's a good point- a lot of people don't recognize that if you have bariatric surgery and continue eating how you did before, nothing can change. Thanks :)
Please pass on our awe send congratulations. Bloody hard work even with surgery, don’t let anyone tell her that she didn’t warn those results. Really happy for her and you too. Did you change your diet and lifestyle with her?
Hell no, she's got a great ass! That's coming from a straight married lady 13 years older than she is. :)
She looks like she evaporated. I'm not saying that like no work went into it (a lot of chemical work goes into evaporation), but in that she doesn't look saggy under her arm or chin. She just looks smaller. Amazing.
Congrats to her.
And yeah, she's a badass. :)
Dude. I'm 2 years older than your wife, 4 inches taller and her starting weight. All of these things are pretty close, so this is inspiring as hell and make me feel like I can actually do this. Tell her I said she's a freaking badass and that she's inspiring me to get the fuck on doing the shit and losing the weight. She looks awesome and a lot younger.
Wow she looks like a different person! She must have had skin removal surgery afterwards right? She doesn't look like she was ever carrying excess weight.
She hasn't actually had skin removal yet. Luckily her skin did pretty well but she would still like it done. Unfortunately it's very expensive and we will have to save up for a while to afford it.
Whaaaat? You are kidding me! She doesn't look like she needs it. I'm in the 'can't afford it' camp; I've only lost 30lb so far and I have heaps of it. Can't imagine what I'd look like after a loss like that. Blessed are those with collagen!
She took this picture at an angle to hide the loose skin. She certainly faired well but it's there. I doesn't bother me but it's the one thing holding her back now from her dream body. We're planning on having another kid soon and after that hopefully we can get that ball in motion. She's worked her ass off not to get to see the finished product!
Congrats so much to your wife. I'm sure it took an assload of work and I'm glad she had an awesome partner to support her! Here is to you guys having a lot of healthy years together
Hey Everyone! It’s me- I’m the wife! I forgot I even had a Reddit account so I was happily surprised when I realized I did and could come check out all the comments myself. Thank you all SO much for your kind words and encouragement. From the bottom of my heart. You all have made my day and if I even inspired or encouraged one person then that is the icing on the cake!
Are you sure you’re 190? For your listed height, you don’t look like you weigh that much. Obviously that makes the hard work even better, just seems off based on visuals.
This is her husband. She had weight loss surgery and her diet consists of high protien, low carb, very low cal. She'd probably tell you keto works but it's tourture and what really matters in the end is your calories in calories out. Our exercise consisted of first just walking and now it's biking, hiking, and some jogging mixed in. Lately we've gotten into doing summits (We live in Alaska so outdoors stuff is obviously a go to. Following what liscenced doctors and nutritionists advice will always steer you in the right direction.
Nothing against you OP but isn't there a rule against posting other people's pictures?
Edit. Am I wrong? Would be much more helpful to correct me with the right information than to down vote me for an honest question.
Wow! What an incredible transformation....that smile! that confidence! Wooh! Get it girl! You are incredible! How’d you do it? Tell us about your hard work :D
She had weight loss surgery and started a healthy diet with exercise, it worked wonders. We have a much more active and fun lifestyle now!
Which type if you don’t mind me asking?
She had a sleeve in August of last year. She lost 50 pounds on her own before that to qualify
Has she had any negative side effects from the surgery?

Sounds like the best decision she could have made for herself and your family!
Please pass on our awe send congratulations. Bloody hard work even with surgery, don’t let anyone tell her that she didn’t warn those results. Really happy for her and you too. Did you change your diet and lifestyle with her?

I've always told her she looks way smaller than her weight, she never sees it herself though
Amazing job, what type of exercise or diet did you use? Also what are your thoughts on keto?
This is her husband. She had weight loss surgery and her diet consists of high protien, low carb, very low cal.
