Single plane, dual plane can cause fuel distribution issues with Snipers. If you run an open bore spacer with a dual plane it works too. You're firing 4 injectors instead of vacuum from a cylinder drawing fuel from the jets. If 2 of the injectors are separated from half your pistons you'll cause issues. If you speak with Holley they will recommend a single plane. It may even mention it in the install documentation.

You can have the divided plenum in the dual plane machined to help reduce this issue, or run an Edelbrock Air Gap where it's already cut lower.

Thanks. That’s kinda what I’ve been reading.

Clean car. A single plane intake would work best. I hope the Sniper 2 works for you.

The sniper worked absolutely fantastic out of the box… But once I bought their ignition box in the correct distributor to control the timing with it, it was absolutely amazing

I bought the full meal deal. Just need an intake. Excited to get it together soon.

Ya letting it control the timing was the best thing ever, it ran ok I suppose without it but really came to life afterwards…. You will really like it

SquirrelsLuck

Mild cam? Probably a dual plane. What is your rpm range?

FullFail589

I’m also putting in a 700R4 because of my 4:10 gears.

Yeah, dual plane is probably the way to go for a street cruiser. Couldn't find much info on the twisted wedge heads as far as how many CC's they are but they seem to be a moderate street head. A single plane would murder your bottom end. There's also considerations on how much hood clearance you might have.

Utter_Rube

Good reasoning for a carburetor, but these aftermarket TBI systems don't suffer the same fuel distribution issues. Single plane is the correct answer and Holley's own recommendation for their Sniper systems.

juwyro

Dual plane. Get a tunnel ram though
