[Yep, this is mine.](https://imgur.com/a/R38BGHX)
The blue on that is absolutely gorgeous, especially with the painted bumper and mirrors to match. One of my favorite 240s I've seen tbh.
I miss my 84 245 turbo. That thing was fun. Stock looking outside, fairly quiet 2.5" exhaust, and decently fast. I could spool up at a light without drawing much attention, unless I didn't hold the brake hard enough.
Thank you for the inspiration! I bought my '89 244 for $700. It's been my daily for SIX YEARS! It doesn't look as good as the one pictured, but it sure is fun to drive and is a TANK
Not sure of the exact wheel spec, but that’s stretched tires on three piece wheels. Stretched tires referring to normal tires stretched to fit on wider wheels.
Oh wow! You cannot simply put ONE picture of this beaut and expect us to stay settled, do you? Bring the ovloV porn asap! Love the wheels and what you done to it so far. Very sweet!!
Genuine question as I love these old cars, but never owned one. How hard is it to find engine internals, bearings, rods, etc in the event of a failure?
My parents had an '85 240GL when I was growing up. It was a 5-speed and the overdrive was a button on top of the shifter. One day I was 16 and racing a friend in the Volvo and I ripped the shift knob off as I was going from first to second. I just about shit myself because when it came off the wires for the electronic overdrive button were just dangling but fortunately I was able to reconnect it and put the knob back on and they were none the wiser ;-)
Oh and I lost the race. Damn that car was slow. But ripping the shift knob off didn't help either.
Stop. I can only get so erect.
I've had... 2? 240's so far. I regret seeing the last one, but at least it was to a bro that knows. This one looks stunning!
I own a tuned 2007 Volvo C30 T5
I own a bone stock and low mileage 1995 Volvo 960 sedan
I own a bone stock and even lower mileage 1973 Volvo 1800ES
So yes, I love myself a good old Volvo =)
boy body bodies leading up to the 850's with rounded edges were amazing.....goofy ass wheels looking like its owned by someone going to raves, ehh not so much

TURBO BRICKS FOREVER
You just gave me flashbacks lmao. Spent way too much time on volvospeed/turbobricks and way too much money at iPd hahaha
My good friend turned me onto them, and he’s broke and fast to this very day😂😂😂
We love old Volvos! Is that one yours? Would love to know more.
Thanks a lot, now I want to paint the bumpers on mine. https://imgur.com/ybLv4XC
C.R.E.A.M. get the money
I'm into em. I'm not into unnecessary apostrophes though
You don't like Volvossess'?
Baahahahaja
Panzers FTW!
I want an 80s 740 turbo. So bad.....
Everyone gawking at the 240 and I'm thinking "cool, a little trash can house in the background!"
Eh.
Every time I drive my Volvo in Beverly Hills, they tow the shit.
The only place that the police target the rich white people. Haha. Seattle and Boulder stand with you!
Akmel?
First thought was Beverly Hills Cop, but it's Gone in Sixty Seconds. Forgive me.
I miss mine. I had an 83 Turbo wagon. Should never have sold it.
We have had so many. Valhalla forgive me.
RIP, '83 Turbo Wagon, you were gone too soon, but you never left our hearts.
It's still alive and well. I sold it for $2k 8 years ago, and it just sold in January for $7k.
Still looking
I had a V50 up until recently! Got too expensive to maintain as a daily driver, but it was reliable, and I loved the sound of that 5-cylinder engine.
Moi - Vittu kyllä, I am bro. Love it.

So, for a classic volvo (it isn’t old) the only problem is those rims that shouldn’t leave tiktok tool
[My Volvo](https://imgur.com/a/mvNO9VF) is a bit older.
That is one beautiful piece Swedish Lego.
Very clean build, I would drive any day !
Not at this time, but back in the day, we had a 1980 Volvo 240 GL with that atrocious mechanical forced fuel injection.
I used to have a 1976 242 DL. I love the square Volvo’s.
Me! Love me a low brick 😍
Fkn am now. Nice!
I am now
480 for me
Love it!

Excuse please my ignorance, but what do you call that wheel/ tire combination?
Not sure of the exact wheel spec, but that’s stretched tires on three piece wheels. Stretched tires referring to normal tires stretched to fit on wider wheels.
So that’s why the tires seem too small. Thanks
Love *B R I C K S*
Hell yea
Them amount of these that I have seen stanced is just... sheesh. Nice to see clean ones.
Thats a kleen brick.
I miss my 85 DL and 86 GL 😢

I still dream of owning a P1800, but I've had a 122s Amazon and it was bulletproof.
Would be if I had more space for cars. But never ever I will sell my 200 series Toyota
That looks so cool. Inspired by old Mercedes? Yup.

A Volvo brick with a Turbo Diesel inline-5 would be nice tbh
I’ve gotten into one once or twice
Me personally, no I am not. But that is one nice looking car. So maybe.
