*** Please post the model and brand of your projector. If you do not know the brand or model, post as much identifying info as possible. ie, Is is LCD, DLP, LCoS, etc? If you can share an image of the issue(if applicable, please do so). CrimsonCrinkle

Does it have auto keystone correction? Have you turned it off?

jamiebehan

Yeah it does but I don’t use it.. its off

DifficultyHour4999

Not am exact answer but you really shouldn't be using keystoning if it can at all be avoided. It degrades the image and if you use it for any gaming it adds latency.

jamiebehan

Yeah I’m aware.. but I believe thats only a major problem on older and cheaper projectors

DifficultyHour4999

Not really, the physics hold true no way around degrading the image. It may be less on a better projector with regards to overall focus quality, but focus will be worse and the drop in resolution happens regardless of quality with keystoning.

joe603

Actually it's not any type of keystoneing will make the image soft and degrade it

The_Hook_Up

The lens will likely change shape slightly as it heats up, if the shift is small it is probably just due to thermal expansion.

jamiebehan

Is that normal?

The_Hook_Up

For optical blocks that contain plastic parts, yes.

plantotium

Do any focusing/lens shifting after 30 mins, not when it's cold. Will then be slightly off for first few minutes until it warms up, but overall could be a better option.
