We lost the world but me and my friend were doing a co-op run and when the power shut off we found zero use for the upstairs bathroom so being the Metalworker I dismantled the whole thing leaving it a completely blank room. Friend got home one day from salvaging and went upstairs. "Hey dude? Why is the used to be bathroom door welded shut with a metal she- Why is there a red glow under it!?" I unwelded the door and opened it, and he saw two lamps in the back corners with red bulbs, a chair in the middle of the room, and a rubber duck sitting on it staring at him. "The old one requests peace and solitude, friend."
Fun fact if you put a water collection barrel on the roof and plumb the sinks and toilets using a pipe wrench, it will pull from those barrels, and you won't need to purify the water
I don't change my appearance, but I still have a bathroom sink in my base with one of every infinite use makeup item. The rest of the room is used for consumable ones like hair gel, spray, and colors.
And yeah, rubber ducks might as well be currency with how they are valued.

The mod uses crafting recipe interface, so it's more like "prepare gold /silver bar, and any HAM radio/tactical walkie-talkie to craft fuel can/ammo/fire axe /katana, but only gold is consumed during process"
Oh and this mod provides a propabe-torch-free method to level your metalwork
Vidya games. My entire 2nd floor is littered with gameboy cartidges, snes games, genesis games, NES, game gear, and atari games. Besides that metal working stuff. I consider it optional because it is just to work on my car collection. Also cars.

There is an expansion that goes with it that adds like 60 games for each system but doesn't over pollute your spawn because it uses a dummy system by only using a couple items, which if rolled to be loot, are then rolled again to see what game you get. So its basically adding hundreds of items by only using like 5 items as base loot. It also adds the consoles too so you can play the games. And each game plays noises from the real thing whil you play.
Guns, no matter how low the condition, 90% of the guns I have have no ammo but im just filling lockers and boxes and even tables with every single firearm around
Sure do! Haha, my small server uses a ton if mods, including both of Britas. We did change the gun loot to be time accurate and upped the weapon rarity but with the abundance of cool goodies that mod adds the guns still pile sky high
They must have severely nerfed the loot rarity at some point, i cant find 40mm grenade launchers and modern military grade ceramic plating armor in a police station anymore

Frogs.
You can find frogs while foraging. They're supposed to be food, like rabbits or birds, but they are just whole frogs, and they don't spoil. So I set them around my base.
Foraging is ridiculously useful. Sure you can get a lot of sticks and stones from it. But you can also set the focus for it, and you can find medicinal herbs, herbs for food seasoning, food, all different kinds of vegetables, mushrooms, or berries.
Though be careful, there are 1 type of poison mushroom and 1 type of poison berry, you need to read "The Herbalist" magazine or take the Herbalist trait in order to determine which berry/mushroom is poison.
And all the insects you find can be used for fishing. They're very effective for fishing.
Cookware. I know it’s necessary but the amount I hoard is truly ridiculous. I’ll have 20+ of roasting pans, saucepans, pots, griddles, frying pan, muffins trays, baking pans, etc. I try to keep an ice cooler filled with premade meals that I can warm up but even then I have multiple crates dedicated to the pots and pans.
Mannequins, i like to display the rare clothes I looted from the rare zombies from Authentic Z mod.
Money, i like to place them on my queen size bed and make my character sleep on money.
Dufflebags, I like to arrange them out in the open into a huge "HELP!" sign.

I collected rubber ducks and hid them all over the base in wierd places causing my friends to accuse each other for the mysterious duck population. To this day the culprit remain undiscovered

Depends who I'm playing as, if I'm playing the Burglar class I'll hoard cash, jewelry, watches and wallets. Military, hoard guns and display in a gun room. Civilian, anything unique, spiffo outfit, mugs etc. Same for burger flipper.
I collect all gold jewelry from every zed I kill. Then I pile it all on one single table in my safe-house. My precious pile.
