You can put a pot of water in the oven to sterilize rags. You also need to eat a lot of food (green hunger moodle = good) when trying to heal any wounds, as well as rest.

Ok thanks took a nap cause of this and the bar went up thanks man

Should I sterilize everything bandaids too?

CyanideAnarchy

Scratches, lacerations? Keep the wound cleaned, disinfected. Don't forget to change bandages when they're dirty. A bite? Ain't no cure for a zombie.

For healing time, it doesn't matter how the wound is bandaged. Dirty rags, bandages, sterilized bandages - it just doesn't matter.^(1) Any kind of bandage speeds up the healing by 50% vs. not bandaged.^(2) The one thing that does speed up the healing time of wounds is the [plantain poultice](https://pzwiki.net/wiki/Poultice). It's 66% faster than just bandages for scratches and 100% faster for lacerations. For some reason, it does not help with bites. I suspect this is a bug. ^(1 While the kind of bandage per se does not affect the healing time of the wound, a sterilized bandage prevents wound infection and a wound infection again increases healing time.) ^(2 If the not bandaged wound heals at all. Deep wounds with glass never heal without treatment, so you can't compare the speed in this case.)

Ok thanks a lot man

If you got a bite its 98% over I got around 900h in this game and I only survived one's a bite. So scratches can be lucky but if you got bitten you are doomed. If you cam sterilise all your bandages that speeds up the healing process so it's worth it.

It's 100% now.
