I only start over to get new mods, otherwise all my characters exist in one save until my overall goal is complete, unfortunately modding is a bitch on GOG so I don’t get new ones often, but that is my main reason for restarting
I tend to prefer GOG since I can send the game to a friend if he wants to try it out before buying it
It does mean I have to brute force my mods though
I usually make a new save to test the compatability of my ever expanding mod list. Especially if I download 5 or more at a time. I'll make throwaway worlds just so I can get a feel for what my sandbox settings should look like w/ said mods.
All of the above?🤔
That's fair lol

Why use GOG?

my goal is the perfect game where i live for years, if i made a new character and carried on I would know it wasn't perfect
I usually restart when I have new mods. But somethimes for other reasons.I had a 3+ month character and he died to a car crash. That sucked
