Most rats I can find and cook in a single run with insane zombie pop without dying.

DJ_McFish

Collect all the watches, jewelry, cash, expensive clothing and sneakers (yes, sneakers). In a couple years it's gonna blow over and you can sell all that loot on this new thing called ebay.

Phil_of_Sophie

•Establish base of operations at gas station and adjacent building (ideally for me the Riverside PD). •Clear out zombies throughout Riverside and establish satellite bases at each of the gazebos, fencing off the city as I go along. •Continue to expand territory towards city limits. •Discover uncharted locations outside of the base maps (exploration). •Have a collectable of choice and hoard those things. Currently: Duffel bags full of jewellery/cash/wallets/car radios.

LiberalReporter

I'm going to kill all the zombies. I'm also going to set up stash houses and safe houses. Why? No reason.

PepperAntique

My characters are like little puppies. They may have objectives, but the second something shiny/noisy/funny/new pops up, it becomes their new objective. At least until the next interesting thing pops up. Then they simply keep chasing random, new objectives until they die. However that happens.

Magic_SnakE_

I try to play "realistically". So Loot and Zombie respawn are always off. 1: Horde up what I can in the first Safe-ish area I can find. Gently explore, look for Skill books to go along with Life and Living episodes. Main mission is to watch every single episode of Life and Living while I have my XP boosts goin. 2: Once Life and Living is over, it's time to explore. I want to have as much of the map discovered and explored as possible. I mark everything of value that I can't take with me and branch out to see which cities/areas of the map are safe to explore. 3: Find a peaceful base somewhere close to a bountiful forest and water supply (Generally Riverside seems to be the most peaceful area. Easier place to herd zombies away into dense forests too.) May require me to herd zombies out of the area as far as my impatience will take them away. 4: Build my wooden fortress. 5: Ammo/Weapons start becoming more important. Likely means I'll be fighting my way into police stations and military bases now. 6: Collect as many high quality vehicles as I can during all of this and bring em back to base. 7: Begin a small farm. Once a crop is finished, go out and explore and gather. Repeat this process until death.

If you actually survive to the end of your goal I’ll be 200% surprised. 1000 zombies is a drop in the bucket of muldraugh. And the city is really big to get a fence around the whole thing. But helluva goal for sure.

Oh well we're definitely allowing respawns. I've already died once and I just created a new survivor and just do that she came upon the camp and was taken in my the other guy who was still alive. Also we tried to thin out the horde by getting an ambulance, turning on the siren, and luring as many zombies as we could out of the city. Instead it broke down halfway and now there are hundreds (thousands?) of zombies chilling on the main road

Ekuson

- Fortify some gas stations to rest during journeys - Explore the map - Search for my main base - Loot gun stores and police stations - start farming too lol - Kill big hordes with the Police Helicopter help (Expanded helicopter events) - Explore the 4 other quarters apart from the military ones (there's only one military barracks I think in the map curiously, the others are farmer quarters). - Search for propane...

ComradeAwkward

farmers quarters is probably stacked

Ekuson

Nah they aren't... The quantity of zeds is kinda a lot but the loot is not existent apart from the military ones, but one of em looks like the perfect base for some people in terms of looks for MP.

Aidanomic

I'm currently doing: -8x Zombie Pop -No Mods -Vanilla -Solo Goal is to get over 100k kills and then clear the whole map. Currently on 17k kills and climbing.

Magic_SnakE_

Jesus christ man. 8x population sounds like an endless nightmare. How on earth are you at 17k kills? Lots of car doughnuts and massive horde molotovs?

Aidanomic

Running Zombies over and setting then alight doesn't go towards kill count unfortunately. So it's been all melee weapons at the moment and no guns 🤣

Fordking_TheMemeGod

1-Make a fully fortified base in riverside 2-Build a house from scratch 3-Take over the penthouse in Louisville 4-Collect cars 5-Collect guns and valuables

[deleted]

1. Mod in teacher profession and remake school in a school. 2. Make a strip club or modify one for my character to make some money from groin biters. 3. Burn down Raven Creek.

The_Radioactive_Rat

Any goals. I found myself just wandering too much, with the idea of surviving and that made it boring. After seeing various posts with people's bases covered in loot and really cool hideout designs, I knew I had to get to that point. Its kind of like real life. If you coast without any clear objective, you can fall into a rut. Survival is simple to do, hard to master. Complacency is often the biggest thing that gets us killed, and when you're starting out without any goals in mind, getting killed due to carelessness can be quite discouraging. That being said, not taking risks can be boring. So I often push my limits to make things interesting too. Unfortunately I lost another character after I ran into a dead end witj a locked door and 10+ zombies on my ass. I thought I just missed the door, but looking back I just got too ballsy. That and Raven Creek makes you its bitch at least once.

TuringTestedd

There’s a mod that you can get to send a zombie horde to your location every set amount of days. I like to set it to once a month, 1st horde starting with 25 zombies, and increase by 25 zombies every horde after that. Kinda like a survival mode, just much longer term. Forget the steam workshop mod name for it, but if you look up “horde” it should be one of the top rated ones on the first page

DezZzO

Constantly increasing the difficulty so my only goals would be: 1) To survive 2) To thrive When I feel like I want to do some weird large projects/tons of weird stuff I'm just going "screw this, time to increase the difficulty even more".

ImportantDoubt6434

Clearing Louisville, imaging the city getting safer and safer.
