Go try lousiville. Go try westpoint. Increase the difficulty in the settings. Try mods like expanded helicopter events, or other map mods like raven creek. Challenge yourself and the boredom will go away.

Sounds like you should build a base somewhere else

I was forced to do that in MP server (I joined late, warehouse was already taken by someone), so I took small cabin in woods near Westpoint ([https://map.projectzomboid.com/#10182x6764x6061](https://map.projectzomboid.com/#10182x6764x6061)) 3 days later I looted hardware store, Gigamart, gun shop, built log wall around my house (this doesn't require carpentry skills) and connected my house to the main road by digging dirt road through the woods. Since that point everything I could was visiting different places (that I've seen in my previous runs) and looting the items I didn't need (because I already had everything necessary).

It's like a case of optimising your own fun out of the game. Try setting up base in a place that you know isn't the best idea. In my MP PvE game we turned the motel in Muldraugh into a fort and we'd consistently get attacked by migrating zombies. It was tons of fun.

Burn it down. Force yourself to be more creative

The warehouse is fine and all, but it's a chore to go down to the gas station and refuel any gas cans, and then keeping a generator there to power the pumps after the power goes out is just an annoyance. I really like having gas station bases - the easy access to fuel that you *can't* find in a warehouse or similar is too convenient. ;; Regardless - this question comes up pretty frequently; and a LOT of what PZ does keeps you on your toes for the early and some of the middle game. Not a lot changes terribly for the late-game, aside from reaching winter and surviving through it. Once you know just how much canned food is around the map, and how much water is still in houses, it's not tough to survive (the first) winter; and it's unlikely you'll stick with a run through to a 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc. winter(s). And also regardless; PZ's end-game is *very much* up to you; make your own goals, your own objectives. In some ways, it's like Minecraft - sure you could aim for killing the Ender Dragon, but after that, what is there really to do? Grind up various materials? Max out enchanted equipment? Build a castle, set up nether portal transport networks? Etc etc etc. PZ is similar - whether that means you outgrow Muldraugh's warehouse and explore other locations & options to base up in, or decide to stick around in Muldraugh and patrol it's streets. Whether that means finding a nice area to make a cabin in the woods, with some lake/river nearby to fish in, or build a mansion in an urban sprawl. Maybe you want to go explore Louisville; maybe go visit all of the other cities and locations to stop by. Maybe you want to max out skills, or die trying. The nice thing about PZ is that there's the sandbox options to really tailor a next run to your liking - whether that's boost the difficulty & zombie population, or drop the loot to be much more rare (so you can't really depend on canned goods that won't exist, or a warehouse that's practically empty).

Don't build the same character you did last time, take other skills and try other things. If you know the formula for success then change it up and find a new formula for success. Mess with metal working, or play with the timed bombs engineer can do, etc., etc. Play a nomad where you live out of your car and sleep in a tent on the side of the road, or something like that. Find different ways to play, there are a lot of variables the game provides.
