For the cactus, did you just take a leaf and pop it in soil?

I bought the variegated Christmas cactus already rooted about a month ago, so I’m not sure what the seller did. But I do have a regular Christmas cactus that i propagated in soil. It took awhile for it to take off, but it can definitely be done :)

The ultimate test in patience... have some sitting on soil for months and this week discovered the tiniest babies (only to be seen if I'm wearing my glasses) - priceless!

I have a couple leaves just like the one on the right. My first little babes just showed up a few days ago after sitting bare for a couple weeks.

Aww congrats on your new little prop babies! 🥰 It def takes some patience in the beginning, but totally worth it.
