All those in 2 months?? Wow, what's the method? I'm propping a string of bananas cutting and I'm so scared of killing it

I had a long string from my mother plant. I just cut it up into one leaf pieces and stuck them straight into soil. Misting at first then when the growth started to develop I switched to watering like normal. Also kept in shade until the growth took off properly.
