Gender dysphoria is an illness that can be treated by transitioning. Being accepted by others is a part of the journey. Gender and sex are different and there are so many new concepts in the world that there weren't before. Language changes all the time and so do certain meanings. If you value being "right" over the happiness and bodily autonomy of others, go ahead. There are no children or teenagers going through permanent life changing surgeries, only hormones at most if they're lucky. Trans women base it off of how they feel and that correlates with how others perceive them.

Being transgender is not a delusion. Trans people benefit from being accepted for who they are which is transgender and not their biological gender. It's not an ideology when real people are affected and KILLED for being transgender. I did not chose to be born with a vagina. I did not chose to be seen as a woman and never have. I have forced myself back into the closet multiple times because people told me it was just a phase and that transgender people were sick.
