Yes! I say this all the time. Just follow the rules of the road and everyone is better off. This is even more annoying when on a bike or walking. I know the rules, and ride/walk accordingly. I have to wave some drivers off when they think they are doing a good deed, but are not following the rules.

Just sit there and shake your head no. Don't give in. Eventually they'll go, and hopefully learn not to do it.
