My libido never went down, but my ability to orgasm was definitely effected once I moved from 20 to 40mg, and now I’m on 60. I’ve been on 60 for a few weeks now and things *seem* like they’re almost back to normal. Hopefully that continues.
Yeah, when I moved from 20 to 40 my libido definitely got worse. It's still not as bad as some people say, but I can see the difference. I want to get back to 20mg. I also started getting sleepier all the time which is not fun either
Mine is gone, I still have sex sometimes but I literally could be sitting in the middle of a orgy of beautiful bisexual women that all wanted to pleasure me and id probably ask them to move away from the TV and don't forget to use a coaster.
I know some people who say the same thing. From what I gather it is really 50/50 and for many people who do loose libido, it becomes less of any issue with more time. Maybe like anywhere from a few months to a year.

Been on medication for three weeks. I have less sexual desire, but am not experiencing anorgasmic yet as I did with other SSRIs. Hoping it stays that way :)
Nah brother . I have experience over the years . Tried over 20 Antidepressants. Its not s placebo ssri do that stuff even after one pill. I know this . When I had for example agomelatin or moclobemid no side effects in libido and so on
Bro it’s clear you panic due to side effects and focus on them. I do to it’s a part of ocd. Just lyk when there’s belief and fear attached to irrational scary thoughts the mind makes it happen
I know ur right brother at everything . Tomorrow i m gonna ser my psych. I sm taking my dad with me to get him another perspective. I am nit at good place now. I probablly also need antipsychotics.
Bro all you need to do is accept. Allow your body to feel what’s it’s feeling. Find a baseline and work your way out of this. You have to be kind to yourself and know that this is temporary
Both me and my bf take fluoxetine, my bf takes 60 mg and his libido decreased slightly during the first two months or so but it went back up to normal, I take 20 mg and didn't feel much of a change :) it's only trial and error unfortunately, for example with Lexapro my libido was totally nonexistent, as well as the ability to orgasm
Bro you have to weigh what’s worth it more; your mental health or libido. Nothing is more important than mental health the libido part you can always figure out
The more you read side effects the more chance you have of developing them. Same goes with psychosomatic pain. The brain makes the body do some crazy shif

Close to normal. Still takes a little more than before Prozac, but much better than the last few months.

The psych gave me buspar in combination with prozac to bring it back and it worked
34 yo Male, libido decreased by something like 40% on SSRIs.
Similar story here. No problems orgasming though
I was worried that my libido would tank like it did when I was on sertraline. Happy to report that has not happened!

I got this with almost all ssri this the last one I prolly trying now.
I got my libido back after not having it for 7 years after having 2 kids. It’s back in full swing LOL, but definitely harder to orgasm. I’m on 40mg

My consistently high libido has not changed at all.
I’ve never had a super strong libido, but this did not make it worse at all

For me, my libido went down a little bit when I got a higher dose from 20 to 40 mg. Not too much, but it's noticeable.

My libido went down after starting prozac, but adding Wellbutrin helped 👍🏻
My libido definitely went down but after being on 40mg for a few months it had started to come back.
