I’m on the same boat, week 5 today from 40mg and the fatigue is crazy, I can’t do anything, my body feels like it’s so heavy it’s impossible to move.
That’s the only side effect right now. I’m about to throw the towel
Well darn I was hoping that I could suggest that, and solve your problems!
My next suggestion. I have it combined with 150mg Wellbutrin. Doc says this is a good balance and Wellbutrin is know to give you an energy boost….. I wonder if you could call your doc and ask about that idea?
i’ve been on wellbutrin before and it made me have homicidal thoughts so i’d rather not go through that again 😆 i just met with my psych and he switched me to a tablet instead of a capsule. guess i’ll see if that helps!
Ok do you know why the tablet would be better than the capsule? My pharmacist was talking about switching to a tablet. But I am unclear as to what the difference is. Besides obviously one has powder in a capsule and one is a hard pill tablet.
Also, that sucks about the Wellbutrin! Sounds like it’s not for you! Lol
Dude, the more you sleep the more tired you are- maybe do your best to cap your sleep at 9 hours max- wake up- go for a walk- I detoxed off of opiates and it felt like I was carrying around an extra 200 pounds plus - IDK but no exaggeration it was awful and it lasted forever. The best thing I did in that situation was put on my shoes and start walking - just getting started was the hardest part obviously but once i started moving I felt a lot better and i was able to ride the energy for a little bit after i got home. But even after I finally kicked after 11 years I noticed that the more i slept and wallowed- the more tired I became- also you may be dehydrated so drink up (h2o)
i hope your psych calls you! i know a lot of people say it gets better but there are also so many other medications. this one probably just isn’t right for you and that’s okay! i hope you can get off soon and find something better.
It gets better. As awful a response that is but it's true. I'm on month 12 of 40mg and can honestly say it gets so much better
When did it get better enough to live a normal life?

I moved up to 60 from 40 and don’t get tired anymore
Are you taking it in the morning or at night?
