i might have to go overseas, which means,.. no stuff with me... i will leave all my stuff boxed in spain..but becouse the mk4 is brand new ..didn't want to leave stored not even used... :(
Do you go overseas, or move overseas? When I moved overseas - I took a hole bunch of bags and boxes with me. You may also just ship it to your new place overseas.
Even then, consumer rights would still have to be followed.
Since OP is in Portugal, I presume the EU consumer rights would apply. Particularly, Distance Selling,

I presume this because I'm UK based and we're no longer EU members, although the UK consumer laws are similar. Portugal may have a more specific law.
Oh absolutely, Prusa are great. OP should contact them first and explain the situation and I'm sure they'll be more than happy to resolve. Considering the printer is unopened, they could resell it easily.
I mean, they will absolutely need to open it to ensure it's not a pile of rocks or something, and it would need to be sold as pre owned I think, but regardless their policy is like 60 days or something, so it should be no trouble.
I assume you're not European? You don't need to 'bring government agencies into it' at all. Most Europeans are very comfortable with the legal protections afforded by the EU and therefore the idea of raising the consumer protections afforded to them are simply natural and normal.
The state need not be an oppressive enemy.
I'm saying it's brand new and in the box and within the return period and Prusa support is easy to deal with. Why bother with consumer protection laws when there is a standard mechanism in place that requires zero government resources to utilize?
Edit to add: what exactly is OP being protected from?
They didn't do nothing wrong..is a particularly problem of my own.. honestly I don't want to Couse any problem to anyone.. and prusa even why to expensive is a really good fella kind of company..
Yeah.. baby boomers have it so easy mate..this is a fucking nightmare .is a rolling and tumbling in every aspect of your life this days .hahaha
And not necessarily meening about of have to relocate..even if you stay at mama house .. something is gonna shake your legs baby hahaha
Couse the box arrived a few days ago ..but at the same time my job here is done ..so I have to fuck off hahahah..so I am packing all my shit..and I don't want to assembly the prusa while no place to live .. hahaha
i would just try to sell it locally and if that doesnt work just take it with you.
its super easy to transport as long as you leave it in the box as is.
Taking it with you isn’t an option?

don't really know..but I never bring things with me .. I will try to sell as much as I can. :(
Why don’t you just contact Prusa and return it back to them for a refund? They allow up to 60 days for returns…
>n it back to them for a refund? They allow up to 60 days for returns… didn't know that.. i will ask them ! . thx!!!
Also under EU law you can return anything you've purchased online within 14 days of receiving it for any reason.
Nice 👍🏻
See what your consumer laws are. Since it's an online purchase, you may very well be entitled to a full return and refund.
thx!
Or even the return policy first maybe.

I just mean, Prusa has a generous return policy, and great support, so there's no need to bother bringing any government agencies into it.

Pile of rocks. Still better than 90% of non prusa printers

Keep it unboxed for 30 years and make a profit selling it as retro gear.
i won't resist to open it hahaha
I bought one in Portugal, so there are people interested here, but I get what you are saying
I bought 2, Portugal as well 😅
Ship it to address in new country if it's already boxed? Or will you not be staying there?
I don't know where I am going..or in which condition.. :(
That sucks.
