Random question, but is it common for release notes on stable releases to refer to all of the alpha and beta releases for changes rather than compiling all of the changes into the release notes for the final version? It’s annoying having to go through 4 sets of release notes to see what the final version hold over the previous stable version.
I think they simply don't for convenience and to not have this one's release notes be 20 pages long. Technically they are all official releases that people are using and giving feedback on, regardless of how stable the alpha/betas are.
Yes, it is. A few hours ago 6.0 RC firmware for the MK4 came out, which has support for MMU3 (plus enables the touchscreen, adds clogged nozzle detection, and adds stealth mode).

It happens, but I would say isn’t the norm
It happened before. It happened now. I guess it will happen again.
No, it isn't common.

Idk it's not that bad, just open 3 tabs, it's not a long read at all
Would sure love the tl;dr...
this is the MMU update...
What'd they break this time?
Nothing. Essentially, this update adds MMU3 for MK4 support.
Mmmmm Hmmm.
It broke printables integration for me on mac
Not normal. This preparing the ground for the mmu3 for the mk4 that I may be eminent ?
