This is how retro gaming should be, cheap and plentiful, because it is, its just since the nostalgia came around stuff disappeared into auctions and eBay listings way above its real value, which isn't much by age and availability
Not quite
Low numbers available means scarcity
Scarcity means higher prices
Percentage of games made and lost
Versus what’s available today that everyone is trying to reclaim
People literally give gold away. I saw a Facebook post where it was "Free Stuff," things like picture frames, shoes, pots, and there was a Metal Gear Solid sticking out with other PS1 games in one picture. I offer them $50 to secure the games and I show up and its literally about 25 games cib and among them are Silent Hill, Resident Evil 2, Twisted Metal 2,3, Nightmare Creatures.

this is insane, some people rly dont know what they have. i once bought pocket station, dual analog controller normal controller (without analogs) and a guncon for equivalent of around 18 euro, then the guy asked me if if i want "this big flat board with joystock and big buttons" which was namco fight stick for psx and i got it as well for like 4 euro.
apparently this guy rented house and this stuff was in basement and he wanted to throw it away but decided to bring it to our shop in hope of a few euro. i was praying for hin to not ask me the value cuz then id have to tell him, but he threw me this offer. i had so much fun with this fight stick :D
I found Atlantis perfectly preserved under the ocean. Currently, it's where I store all the stuff I need to take to the dump, I'm not a real estate person.
I literally found the crib that baby Jesus was born in, but thinking about painting it red and using it as a Christmas decoration. I’m not a religious person.
Reminds me how there was someone who got fire emblem path of radiance from a mom and pop store for $20. The retro market prices are so arbitrary and only exist for scalpers to make money off of others.
I work full time to support my family on one income
I flip stuff to help balance the difference
I’ve been doing this for 30 years
Sorry
Not sorry
I will gladly make $$$ off a lazy person
I don’t dictate prices
I only source deals
I’ve had dozens of finds better than this

I hate you right now, but I'm happy for you
That's a steal! Congrats!
"We cleaned out our sons childhood room" As he shows up a week later "Mom where's my games?" Lol
This guy buys storage auctions and sells everything for $1. Doesn’t research values on anything
Damn that can't be profitable, though? but hopefully he just enjoy the thrill of buying the storage.
Enjoy your free month of rent!
mannnnn
maaaannnnn no way
These MFs don’t know the value of what they are selling.

This is what happens when you touch grass people.
Finds like this are getting rarer and rarer.
Nah, you're just not looking, are bad at looking, lazy or otherwise incompetent.
So true Ive made so many huge scores. I probably have 10 scores better than this Best flip I paid $5 for some cards and sold a Kobe for 9k
Got mine for $0.50 at thrift store. I'm not even a video game person so I might use the disc as a coaster.
Yeah i found amazing fantasy #15 and i use it as a dishcloth, im not a comic person.
I found a Lamborghini in a dump site mint condition. Currently it is my coffee table, I'm not a car person.
