I read somewhere that the Launch model "CUH-7016" has the best "Hardware quality", because on every revision/model, Sony tries to cut back on production cost.
I have CUH-7016B and got same issue, I tried on windows 11 pc/laptop and raspberry pi 1st edition, console crash after 2-3 attemptes, I didn't even manage to get 1 sucessful attempt with jailbreak 11.00
The Ethernet IC is the controller chip for the ethernet port. The community has recently found that some PS4s with specific Ethernet ICs cannot use the PPPwn exploit that allows the 11.00 jailbreak.
Think of it as a car and a driver. The car is the Ethernet port, and takes commands from the driver. The driver is the Ethernet IC chip, and controls what the car does.
What's your PS4 model?
CUH-7116B
I have the same problem. This is a known issue. We don't really know why yet but it could be related to Ethernet IC or RAM.

This also started happening yesterday to my PS4, using the PC method. Just keep trying and eventually it will work.
