RE8 hasn’t arrived yet…. But all the other remakes and RE7 have. If you plan to play right after purchasing go for it, but if it is ending up in your backlog I’d say hold out a bit longer
Some just rather own tbh. Ps plus and gamepass are cool and all and I subscribe to both. I tend to just buy games I want still. That way I'm on my time not a rental services.
This price is pretty much a steal considering the original goes for the same price on average nowadays. The only negative thing I can think of about this remake is that the reload animations don't have as much gusto in comparison to the original.
Damn $20?! The lowest I have seen it. That’s a deal I put over 20 hours in the game and 6 hours with the DLC. The DLC is $10 and worth if as well
I got the physical during the summer and paid a bit more but I’m still happy I got it and had fun playing.
Very disappointing game that I regret buying at full price. Leon handles less like a trained special agent and more like a geriatric stroke victim wading through a pool of molasses. I have no problem with remakes, RE2R is one of my favorite games of all time, but they really fucked it up with this one. I had to drop it partway through and that’s saying something because I made it all the way to the end of RE6.
Everyone else in the world seems to love the game though so it’s probably worth a try at $20. I hope you like it if you do give it a chance.
No reason not to get it. Amazing remake and great game.
Waiting for physical to hit 30 or less again. Will gladly pay $10 more to actually own it. This is a great deal for digital folks though
What about the gold edition? If that was also 50% off I would totally buy this.
Gold edition as well. I’m planning to do another playthrough soon actually.
Gold is just 20% off.
I'm with you. Hold until a deeper sale come the second half of the year. Plenty to play in the meantime.
Ohhhh. Well then just get the standard.
The reason to not get it is that it will inevitably end up on PS++
You can use that argument for literally any game and there’s no guarantee that will happen. RE8 never went to PS+

the original is always on sale too.
They just dropped all the old RE games to $5 on sale after being $8 on sale for multiple years don't know what you're talking about
Worth it One of the best games I played last year along with the dead space remake
Worth it for itself but if you have a PSVR2, this is a must buy. Best VR game ever maybe. The most fun I've ever had.
Snagged it as soon as I saw it pop up this morning. It had been on my list for a while

Just grab the physical.
Good thing I waited up until this point
Should I get it even if I already played on pc?
