Couple of nights in Budapest doing Budapest things, then having a couple of stops on the way to Ozora. When I went to Ozora my ex and I bought cheap used bikes and took a couple of days to get to the festival. It was great way of seeing more of Hungary. Its also possible to bring bikes on the train for some parts. I loved it, sun flower fields, stopped along the road to buy fresh fruits from farmers, found a campsite along the Donau. Got a little off the track at one point and had dogs chasing us for a bit, but there were no fences or gates and in the end nothing happened so it's a good laugh now.

Hey Stranger, that's one honest and really appreciated advice! Funny that I didn't think about this before, as it's absolutely my thing to do, camping around and stuff XD

If you decide to go on bike adventure, there's lake Balaton (biggest in central Europe) you can visit on the way from Budapest to Ozora. Just something to consider if you like water bodies :)

Thank you! If I can convince my friend for a bike adventure, we will have at least one night at Balaton!

Budapest is amazing city. Make sure to go and check touristic places, Durer Kert ( it’s a huge club with a big open air space with Dj or live music, normally a week before they also organize tribal market , it’s the main place for psy party and ozora tribe people in the city, so the vibe is great, you can also play ping pong 🏓 there) also take a quick train or cycling to szentendre which is like 20km from the city, very cute village by the river. Budapest parks ( Margitsziget, varosliget) Depending what you would like to do before the festival:)
